GORGEOUS, RECENTLY RENOVATED, WATERFRONT COTTAGE

The experience as always when staying at this property is more than one could ever expect. I really can think of any other place lease in this area that I would want me and my family to stay. It’s very kept and anything you need is there at your fingertips. It is truly a home away from home. Our weekend at the cottage was perfection. The cottage itself is fantastic. Exceeded our expectations. Clean, very well equipped with all the necessary items to make for a easy vacation destination. The wrap around windows, little nooks to cozy up with a tea/glass of wine and a good book and for the sports fans the gigantic TV (for me it was the return of BTS concert!), ensures everyone when inside is happy. The cottage is right on the beach, with a sweet path to the Bay. Loved that the tide makes for tide pools, so endless treasures to be found on the beach in low tide as well as birds galore. We saw a bald eagle, osprey, herons and of course the sea gulls. The pine trees that surround the back deck are amazing. Whisper all day and night long and makes for the most cozy or romantic spot to enjoy your company. The sweet town of Milford which is about 10 minutes from the cottage did not disappoint either. Art shops, boutique shops and cafe's. A couple of fantastic food stops as well as the Mispillion River meandering through town to allow for a picnic or walk. 10/10!!

We were very pleased with this beach front cottage! It is beautifully decorated. The kitchen and living room are a nice size. We loved the veiw from the larger bedroom that had a full size beach view. The house, property and direct beach access were very cool! Great vibes!

We loved our stay at this lovey cottage. While on the bay, it gave the feel of being oceanfront in every way, with the rural residential area providing a peaceful alternative to the busy oceanfront beaches. It’s an easy 30 minute drive to Rehobeth and Bethany. We also visited Berlin and Assateaque Island, a little over a hour drive. The cottage is beautifully decorated, clean, fully stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The host was incredibly accommodating providing fresh flowers, an offer to arrive a day early due to an incoming Nor’easter, and necessities to get through the storm available upon arrival.

Our second time staying here. Wonderful home, quiet location, beautiful beach. All the amenities. Cannot recommend it more.

It's not often when you travel to another state and realize you found the best place to just chill. Even with our crazy weather, there was no better place to be.We Loved it so much my husband asked if he could buy it.Simply put it has been the decision maker for us to relocate to Delaware. Our Host was great in any communication.

Beautiful comfy cottage by the sea. It was hard to leave. The views are outstanding and the house has everything you need for an amazing stay. Looking forward to visiting again another year!

Clean, pet friendly, nice beach.

Just the right size for a small family or couple looking for a nature focused, less hectic, beach vacation. The kitchen was stocked beyond what you’d usually expect from a vacation home – coffee, flour, sugar, full spice rack, decent cookware, etc. Countless thoughtful touches – fresh flowers, an umbrella, binoculars, and beach toys. Bright, open floorplan – lots of space for boardgames or to just relax and watch the sunrise. Huge mudroom with laundry (stocked with detergent). Just one bathroom with shower (no bathtub), but there is also a large, private, outdoor shower. Definitely bring water shoes – due to prickly pear cactus and shells. Walk out to a certified wildlife habitat yard with grill, deck, kayak, and hammock. Easy walk from the back deck to a Delaware Bay quiet beach, full of ghost crabs, horseshoe crabs, and seabirds. We spent mornings on the beach or took short trips to: Cape Henlopen State Park (beautiful beaches, historical WWII observation towers, playground, and small Nature Center with a horseshoe crab touch tank), DuPont Nature Center (bird watching on their web cam and beach scavenger hunts for kids), Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge (easy salt marsh hikes), and Broadkill Store (walk on the beach while you wait for your pizza). It’s an easy half hour drive to Lewes, Rehoboth, and Dewey for more typical beach town activities and Jungle Jims waterpark. Recommend Towers Beach state park for a beach day and Big Oyster Brewery in Milton.

Very well appointed cottage. Kitchen was perfect for prepping and cooking meals for the family. Great location, short walk from back patio to beach. Lounging in hammock late afternoons and morning coffee on beach were fantastic! Outside shower was appreciated after day visiting deauville beach, about 35min drive away, highly recommend. Only negatives, one bathroom, and not much privacy, sounds travel very easily inside home. shades on windows on sides of cottage would have been appreciated. But other than that, place is ideal. Owner is very responsive and obviously cares very much about the property, we will look to rent again!

Book now! This is a lovely house on a quiet bay beach that is also a bird and horseshoe crab sanctuary. We saw dolphins and an eagle. The house is immaculate,, well appointed and stocked. Great kitchen and views. Close drive to shops and ocean beaches. The Big Oyster Brewery is a must visit! Our family of 5 and our dog enjoyed the visit and hope to return soon.

Absolutely LOVED this property! Beautiful decor, perfect layout, clean, quiet, & relaxing. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Seamless check in & checkout. Just opened the door to experience the beach. Up close with nature; birds, turtles, & even a deer stopped by. We didn’t want to leave! I can’t wait to visit again!

The quiet waters of Slaughter Beach (and few visitors) make it the perfect destination for a young family. The horseshoe crabs and dolphin pod were the talk of our ride home!We loved the cottage - the kitchen was also a nice surprise, as it was well stocked and very big for the cottage. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

One of the best vacations i've ever had thanks to the gorgeous property and the outstanding management of the owners. Waking up to the sunrise, walking on the beach, relaxing on the patio, and watching the wildlife, which included a wide variety of birds, and also foxes, turtles, small sharks, and of course the horseshoe crabs! Plus Rehoboth Beach was 30 minutes away, so we had a wonderful dinner and walked along the boardwalk. Outstanding all around. I would love to come back.

Agree with everyone else that the property was as wonderful as advertised. Very appealing decor and everything needed was available. The location and water views were exceptional. We would definitely stay there again.

Coral Cottage is amazing. Beautiful, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you need for a great vacation. Hosts were great and very responsive. Very comfy beds and super pet friendly. Will definitely be back!

Communications with the owner was excellent. parking was no problem, even for 2 pickups. the cottage was clean and inviting , fresh flowers around the living areas. Cozy bedrooms. GREAT VIEWS. large living area with Great views. Don't for get to watch for dolphins. The best thing we can say is that we are looking forward to future stays here.

We visited over Thanksgiving and the owners bent over backwards to see that we had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. The house was spotless with very comfortable beds. We will be back!

Adorable house! So many windows, great view from all of them but you never feel like the neighbors are watching. The master bed placement is perfect. Wake up in the middle of the night and you can see the ships on the ocean. Quiet neighborhood. Comfy couches, giant TV, kitchen well stocked. Our dogs loved it too. We will 100% return. Owners were very responsive and helpful as we made a last minute reservation and they had to go above and beyond to assist us.

We felt at home immediately, the place was as advertised and most comfortable, and well appointed. Kathy was very responsive whenever we reached out. We have already booked a return trip😎! Only thing I could recommend is possible new patio cushions.

This place is spectacular. When I first took a step in the cottage my breath was taken away by how beautiful it was inside! Everything is just perfect. And everything you need to have a dog with you is right there as well. They really thought of everything. And the location can’t be beat. We’re really considering making this place a regular vacation because we loved it so much.

Relaxing

This was our third visit to Coral Cove. We just love it, being so close to the water, relaxing always listening to the waves. We like the home open design, it is well stocked and is always clean. A very nice place.

We had the best stay again this year at this wonderful little cottage. It gets better every year!! Thanks for providing a great home that is so cozy and peaceful. Looking forward to hopefully coming again next year for our annual family vacation.

This charming cottage was perfect for our beach vacation. Slaughter beach is quiet and natural and a just a little bit remote. The cottage has direct access to the beach and is on a quiet road just right for biking or jogging. Everything is exactly as pictured in the listing and the hosts were helpful but left us with our privacy. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It is in a purely residential neighborhood and right on the beach. The house is very well appointed and comes with many of the essentials (linens, toiletries, paper gods, cookware) and non essentials (beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, bikes) you will need for your stay. And the property grounds are gorgeous!

We really enjoyed our stay at Coral Cottage. The place was beautiful and quiet. It was very well stocked with lots of great things. It is so close to the beach and you can see the water from the back of the house. The sunrises were spectacular. I recommend stopping at one of the local farm markets along the road. We loved it so much!!!
