Golden Moose Cottage with hot tub

Very nice and clean. Beautiful area.

We didn't stay at the property. When we arrived there, around 5pm, the code that was provide by email didn't work. We tried for many times to open the front the door, also tried to reach out to the owners, but no answers. Ww contacted VRBO and they sent us to a local hotel only for a one night even thought we have bought our stay at the cottage for 2 nights. Until now the owners hadn't contact us at least for an apologies. The whole situation was a real scam and now we are waiting for our refund.

This was an amazing stay. The house was spotless and extremely kid friendly. Hocking hills was only about 30 minutes away and the hot tub was perfect!

The cottage was well equipped. We enjoyed the pool table. The beds were comfortable. We had a very nice weekend.

This house had everything we needed for a nice family weekend. Pots, pans, plates, bowls and utensils were all there for use. Hot tub was nice and clean. I will say this, this house has VERY low ceilings. If you are over 6’ 2” I would not recommend this house. I am 5’3” and was able to touch the ceiling. My husband is 6’ and on his tippy toes his head touched the ceiling. Overall very nice stay. We had everything we needed and am very happy we stayed there.

Nice large kitchen, great back yard and outdoor spaces. The front porch has a great swing and chairs. Good place for morning coffee. Beds are comfortable and living room sectional provided lots of seating. We loved the pool table, and card table. Highly recommend to anyone. It's a great place

The location was a little but of a drive to trails, etc., but overall beautiful location. It worked well for our family.

Overall it was a wonderful stay. The hot tub was pretty cloudy, and the coffee pot was broken. They did however drop us off a new coffee pot the same day. Other than that we had no complaints.

Started right off when we arrived, the grass was tall. There was pet hair on the couch and beds. We had to go get new sheets and pillow cases at walmart to sleep on. We had to wipe down the couch. The coffee pot glass was broke on the bottom. The shower head needs replaced, sprays everywhere. We stayed Monday-Friday. They finally mowed the grass on Wednesday and we got to use the firepit Wednesday and Thursday night. This is by far the worst place we've stayed.

This was perfect area. The pictures need to be updated but just as a change of furniture and hot tub area. There are short ceilings throughout the house so if you are taller than 6’2” this may not be the place for you.It is a perfect place that has options for rainy days like pool, games, etc which is a huge plus

Horrible we booked 2 nights only stayed 1The Hot Tub was not clean. The chairs outside in bad shape very dirty. Had ants in kitchen. Floors were not level. The rest of the place was clean but, Very run down looking. we were not satisfied with our stay.

The owner was so nice, she was very accommodating to us!:) anything we needed, she was right there:) Its about a 30min drive to trails, which in my opinion, i didnt mind. Overall we had a great little visit!:)

This place is janky af. Floor is crooked, ceilings are so low my husband couldn’t stand straight. Skip this one!

Great place for a relaxing, family vacation

Great hot tub, spacious backyard, good amenities, overall great location. Dual use Pool/Dinner Table was exceptional.

My husband, brother, mom, and I stayed for three nights. I wish I could give the review that other people have given, but unfortunately our stay was just average. At 3:45 on check-in day I received a text message saying there is an issue with the hot tub but will be there to see what the issue is. They showed up at 7:10 and left a few minutes 8. They got it to work but not all of the jets. I realized there were only 6 towels for four people for three days. I sent an email and received a response that they would bring them Monday morning, but they finally arrived at almost 7pm Monday night. If you plan on cooking please be aware that the skillets are very scratched. On a positive the house was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the check-out process was easy.

If i could rate it -5 stars i would. Do not stay at this home, mouse poop, black mold, awful smell. The house should be condemned and tore down. We left and did not stay. They did reimburse our money but no one should stay there for safety reasons. VRBO should ban this property.

Property was beautiful and clean! Property management was easily accessible and timely! Our stay was amazing! Hot tub was my kids favorite, we had fun playing pool, and a couple nights having a fire making smores! Thank you for a wonderful vacation! We look forward to another stay in the future!

This cottage is our in the woods as expected. Had all the amenities i would want, plus extra. My very favorite though, was, at the end of the day of hiking we played hockinghillsopoly!

This property is awesome. We had a great time and everything we needed was right there! Will definitely bookmark this place and visit again. The owners were very quick to respond, beds were comfortable. It was perfect!

This Little cottage had everything we needed to. Have a good weekend. There are tons of board games and cards, a pool table which my son loved, lots of places to play video games or watch TV, and the hot tub and fire pit area are so nice. The kitchen is well equipped to make dinners.

This was a great getaway! had everything we needed. except password to wifi. all still good! was all peaceful and quiet and had everything we needed. we had a great 3 days! Thank you Could use some Aluminum Foil and salifane wrap. but we had or own at most part. Plenty of food places around and the shower had great pressure! My husband loved. Thank you and we are planning to come back to same cabin if Available. Amy and Michael Murphy

Wonderful little getaway. Rustic, but with all the modern conveniences. After a day of hiking the trails of Hocking Hills, unwind by the campfire and relax in the hot tub!

The cottage was very clean and spacious. The only issue we had was with the internet and the property manager responded quickly and was very helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Owners are super responsive which was much appreciated! The hot tub was great after a day of hiking, plenty of space for the whole family.

Great gem of a place. Sitting out in the hot tub was just what we all needed. For us, we all lost cell signal on the way, so print a map just in case before going so if you loose your Waze you can find your way.
