Stayed Dec 11, 2023From beginning to end, this was a really lovely experience. Before we booked, I had loads of questions and Catherine was really amenable and answered them straight away. We arrived to a very, very clean house and Luc came over and introduced himself and offered any assistance, should we need it. Luc even brought us home produce, i.e. Kiwis! House is lovely; easy to get around; fire very effective. We went in December so town was quiet but it suited us as we were very tired from work and needed a rest. The Wi-Fi quality was tops so we watched a lot of films and drank. Lovely wine. Lovely food. I also had to do a bit of work, so the Wi-Fi was essential. There are even little black sheep outside roaming and eating a lot of grass which is highly entertaining. We called them Clodagh and Simon. [Luc: Clodagh is the one with the white hair on her head and looks like a rockstar - that's about right!] I would highly recommend this residence to anybody. Zero complaints. Just go and book it! Finally, the beaches in the local areas were off the charts, peaceful and beautiful and great for walks. [I started the review writing in French, but it made no sense - should have paid more attention in French class at school]
