Gimli Lakefront Cottage

The house was perfect for our group while in Gimli for sports. Lots of room to spread out and the kitchen is well appointed with new appliances. We had a great experience.

It was a very lovely stay. I loved the place, highly recommended. The host was super friendly. The cabin was very beautiful and comfortable. The lake was incredible and clean. If you want to spend a wonderful stay, you have to visit this cottage.

Everything about this place was amazing! Beautiful inside and out - we will definitely stay again. Well laid out, comfortable and dog friendly. Host was easy to get ahold of and quick to respond. The cottage was suited for everything that was needed for our getaway. The communication was prompt and clear. Any concerns were answered quickly, and the property manager was very kind to work with. Definitely will look to be coming back again!

We had a wonderful extended weekend at the cottage with friends. Our host was very responsive with quick answers and solutions to any questions we had. The cottage was even more than expected. We definitely recommend and hope to stay here again when we’re in the area.

Our family of four had a lovely stay at the well-equipped, super clean cottage. We regularly rent in this area and this is our new favourite. The two living spaces allowed us to each find a comfy spot to read and relax. The beds were comfortable and the linens were generous. We appreciated the extra details like plenty of pillows, extra blankets, lots of towels. The furniture was good quality and not too low for those with mobility issues. The kitchen was well stocked with more than just the essentials. Plenty of plates and cutlery, serving bowls and pots and pans. The dishwasher worked well. There are two fridges, each with a freezer. The wifi was reliable and my spouse was able to work from the cottage and have some virtual meetings with no issues. Our only disappointment is that it is already fully booked for the summer!Thanks for a great week!

The listing is accurate, and the place/rooms are larger than the pictures suggest. We liked the fact that there was essentially two living rooms, which allowed people to spread out. The mattresses were surprisingly comfortable, so no back issues the morning after. The location is relatively close to Gimli, so no trouble getting into town, and an easy drive from Winnipeg. The cottage can easily fit 6 people, but is probably ideal for 4. We were able to fit 6 people around the dinner table, but it would be hard to fit 7 or 8. The heating/cooling appeared to work well, and the sunroom on the back was nice to listen to nature bug free. The beach was great to walk along, and the area was pretty quiet. I would not call the yard 'manicured', but it was fall and there were leaves everywhere, so things were a little overgrown. Plenty of room to explore the lakefront in either direction, and we saw relatively few people during our stay in October. Overall, description/photos were accurate, and an appropriately priced lakefront cottage for 2-6 people. Would recommend, and even stay again...

We were looking for a relaxing, easy couple of days by the water and this property delivered. The cottage is well laid out and equipped with everything we needed (even fresh garlic!), and the beach was clean, easy to access and made for lovely walks. The neighbourhood was quiet and everyone we met out walking was friendly. We are already considering the neighbour’s suggestion of coming back in the winter!

The place was bigger than what we expected! Super clean and loved how everything was organized. We will definitely go back sometime soon!

Fantastic cabin,front door was sticking, unfortunately yard was overgrown.

Overall very happy with our stay, the house is larger than it appears in the photos and was very clean. My only negative was that there was no mention of a tv in the ad however there was a tv in the living room. Would recommend staying here!
