Funky rustic chic cottage

I loved all the little details in the house and it was comfortable for my dog and me. We did several walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed the water view!

Everything was great coffee,kicthen area , heat just wished the weather was nicer we did take a nice walk to the lake and beach area very pretty Want to come again in the summer

We ended up have are son watch are dog but it was set up very nice

The cottage was great! Just what we needed for the weekend to visit family in the area. Close to the beach, great accommodations. Will stay there again when visiting the area.

This is my second time staying in this cottage. It is in a great location. Very close to Lake Huron. Cottage is always very clean and cozy.

Cottage was very clean and rustic, it was roomier than expected. Easy to use door lock, nice fire pit and friendly neighbors. Rooms were cozy. Plenty of hot water and good pressure for showers. It was a no issue stay for sure! Thank You.

Not much to write home sbout from the outside, but this cozy little cottage had everything to make it s great place to stay! Cute, clean, funky and only a few minutes walk to beach and a few minutes drive to Lexington for groceries and shopping Nice beach also at State Park a few miles away... it was closed, but walk ins (park and walk in ) was allowed. Very nice and quiet neighborhood.

We absolutely adored the cottage. Practically perfect in every way!! And far bigger inside than you would imagine from the pictures. It had everything we needed. So close to the water, and the nearby State Park Beach is pet friendly. The nearby town is fun!So close to Metro Detroit, and the rest of south east Michigan. We can't wait to come back!

The property description stated there was AC, but there was only a single window unit. We specifically booked this stay because we were bringing our 8-month-old twins on our first family vacation, and the heat made it very uncomfortable. The babies had to sleep in just their diapers.The place felt dirty and smelled musty. The pillows and towels seemed unwashed and had an odor. There were no basic amenities provided..not even sugar for coffee. Dishes were dirty, and overall it felt like the bare minimum effort had been put into preparing the space. Honestly, we were grossed out and very disappointed.

Check in was great the code worked and was easy to navigate even though its all new to me. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking wear.paper products.1 big grill 1 small grill. Nice fire pit. Quiet. Short walk to the water with private beach access. Clean beach. Peaceful. The window air conditioner cools the place down fast and with all the fans they have it was cool the entire time. I will be coming back. It was a great stay.

The cottage is simple and basic. I stayed for two weeks and it was relaxing. Thinking of coming back next summer.

My fiancé doggies and myself really enjoyed our stay! Ella is a great host! Every question i asked she answered fast! The listing macthed everything in the house. The neighborhood felt safe. The neighbor to the left was extremely sweet, walked us around his grounds showing us is gardens. The beach at the end of the road was great! We watched the sunrise two mornings we was there. Beautiful rocks at the beach, picked a couple to take home. There was even 2 cable tie outs for both of our doggies! If you forget your food and water dish she provides one too!! Outside game's, beach furniture and game's! Water hose at the back door was a life saver for coming back from the beach! Doggies are aloud there in the morning's and evening's! Small and big grill! She really don't leave anything out!! We will be back! Thank you again for the amazing stay!

There were ants all over the counter walls and ceiling in kitchen. The oven was filthy couldn't use it. There was a huge spider in first bedroom couldn't sleep in there because we couldn't kill it. Plus spiders in kitchen. Floors were dirty.

My moms lives 1/2 mile away and I’m in Georgia so a 12 hour drive but for old school reasons (up at 5am and bed by7 pm I stay away for 30 years 3times a week I stayed at double tree in port huron under the bridge but after staying at this Vrbo by my m9ms I will never go back to a hotel the host Ella was very rewarding and took care of all 110 % I will stay at the same place from here on out as it makes you feel right at home thanks for everything

The home was very clean and the host was very easy to communicate with and responded in a timely manner to any questions or concerns I had. I appreciated that host was proactive when it came to any possible concerns that could arise. Neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Was an excellent atmosphere to unwind and relax in an environment that wasn’t a hotel for a while. Also super appreciative that the property was pet friendly on top of it all! Thank you!

Property was as described. Nice little cottage which was clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again.

Husband and I stayed for a long weekend. Loved the cabin, it is so adorable! Super close to town and easy walk to the beach. Ella was very helpful when we needed it! Looking forward to staying again and bringing the kids!

Property didn’t feel clean. There were no amenities. We left a day early because the dining room chairs and couch were very uncomfortable. We were hoping to reset with a good nights sleep, but the bed in the small bedroom was incredibly uncomfortable. The walk to the beach and the beach experience was very nice. The neighbor was very nice as well and offered us fresh tomatoes.

This place was great. So relaxing just hanging out in the back yard (I live in an apartment) and relaxing was awesome. There was a little grill in the back so I cooked out everyday. Fire pit was great just bring extra sketter spray. Things you'll need, saran wrap or storage bags. Next time I won't bring as much food with me I'll just do the shopping when I get there. That's all I can think of.

Dissatisfied that the loft area was not available as advertised, no one told us which caused myself sleeping on very uncomfortable couch, this should have been disclosed as we probably would have selected a different property. Very disappointed

It could be cleaner and needs more towels and new pillows!! Bring your own pillows and towels other than that the location is perfect, the neighbor is so kind, dog friendly and the beach was perfect!!
