This place was perfect for my adult children, myself and our tiny fur baby. The communication with the owner was fantastic. I would absolutely book this property again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway in a great area!
It certainly isn't anything fancy, but it was just what we wanted. A small place for a couple of night, not a room in a hotel. I have to say, after staying at many rental this place was nicely stocked. Made our way south the the Blue Water Bridge. And dinner at the Village Pub in Lexington. Will stay again if in the area..
Very close to the lake. The lake is beautiful. Private beach. Some spots are nice and sandy and others with small stones. Neighborhood is also very nice if you like to just walk around. Price is super good. Cabin was clean. Dogs allowed ?. Dogs are allowed on the beach only early mornings and late evenings though. The owner is very nice and replies to questions or concerns very fast. We had good time for a fraction of the cost comparing to the nearby places. Also cleaning fee, pet fee is very reasonable. Great place if u want to get away and not spend too much.
The house was tidy, just a few minor things like the toilet seat being loose and a spider here or there. The lawn needs some maintenance, but we enjoyed the fire pit both nights and cornhole with our kids. The private beach down the road was really great. Nice sand and not too rocky. The neighbor to the left was welcoming and told us the kids could use the playground at the neighborhood's community building, which they enjoyed. The host was very responsive and check in and out were a cinch. Would go back. Property allows dogs but the beach does not, which we didn't know until we got there, so hopefully others see this for their own planning.
Cottage was just what we needed for a fast getaway. We had a nice time. The beach is sandy and the water's not rocky.
Very comfortable and clean. Beach access at end of the block was great, no stairs
We had a great stay in this quiet neighborhood. Some of the best Lake Huron beaches are in this neighborhood.....some rocks and some sand....jetties every so often. We loves the cozy house. The kitchen skylight really cheered the place up!
Always love staying perfect for our family! Ella always has everything we need to be comfortable and relax! Will be staying again!
Everything was good except the bed in the room that the loft was in was not comfortable, and the cabin could have been a little cleaner.
The place is lovely. Very spacious and updated. We enjoyed our short trip to the incredibly beautiful Lake Huron Beach. We had a BBQ and cooked Smores on the fire pit. The weather was Pure MI perfection. There are 3 ice cream shops very close by. Scoops is our favorite! The Beaches of Lexington are legendary. Enjoy your getaway here! Thanks for sharing Emma We are already prebooked for our return trip.
Great location and property that is well kept and homey. Will definitely return
Has everything you need!
My daughter and I spent the weekend for a little getaway. It was perfect for our needs. My daughter especially loved the loft where she slept. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. I love the rustic look of the cabin. It rained most of the weekend but we made the best of it. Just a couple miles from downtown Lexington where we shopped and went out to eat. We also took a drive to Port Sanilac. Everyone we met was so kind. When the rain did clear up, we went down to the beach which was only a short walk from cabin and found several Petoskey stones. Overall we had a great trip and made some awesome memories!
My Girlfriend's and I had a wonderful time! Location was fantastic, close to Lake Huron which we found lots of beautiful gems. Lexington is a cute little town and this cottage was the perfect get away for our girls weekend! Definitely will be returning.
We had a great time time exploring the area shops, parks and of course the beautiful lake. We very much enjoyed this cottage, it was pretty clean and very comfortable. I would suggest adding a shelf over the bathroom sink for personal items, but the price is great and so cute. We do recommend the cottage. We will surely stay again. Thank you to our host.
We had a great time staying in the home. It was so well sticked with everything you msy need. Very clean.
This is a great little place to stay! Cute decor. Had everything you could need, and then some. Three minutes to downtown Lexington, and 15-20 minutes to the shopping in Port Huron. Great weekly rate! Owner even let us know about the tree lighting festival in Lexington (which we did attend). Would be fun in the summer too. Would highly recommend!
Great little place clean and peaceful
We had a very nice stay with this much needed get away!
I stayed at this property in July with my daughter. Loved it so much I brought my husband back for a fall get away. The lake and the leaves changing colors was splendid. Quiet the entire time.
We were pleasantly surprised at the rental location and design. The accommodations were enough for one child and 4 adults. The child loved sleeping in the loft bed. The rental had everything we needed in the kitchen too. We were lucky enough to be there when the neighborhood had an event and met wonderful people. We enjoyed the sunrise on Lake Huron, and late night swims in the water. We also rode our bikes all around the neighborhood. And we can’t wait to stay at this place again.
It was a very clean cabin the owner does a great job of having everything you need during your stay! Super cute lil get away! Would definitely go back and recommend to family and friends.
This was the perfect place to stay for me and my eight year old son. The house is decorated so cute, and has everything you need. We felt so comfortable. The best part was the walk to the beach every day. The host responds so quickly, and was so friendly!
Perfect little Lake Huron getaway. Cozy, comfortable cottage with its own beach down the road. Located off M25, between the Lakeport State Parks and Lexington just north up the road. We enjoyed our early season stay as the leaves were just coming out and the spring bulbs werein bloom. Hope we can do it again.
