My dive group reported that the accommodation was well appointed, good size living area and the fire was brilliant in the cold weather. Decent sized bedrooms. The sofa bed is quite small they said, it would be quite something to fir 2 persons on it, perhaps 2 kids. Nice to have off-street parking too. We will send small groups here again.

Freeland Cottage is a beautiful home, loads of space and so warm and comfortable, everything you could possibly need is provided and the owners are extremely helpful and easily contactable, it snowed while we were there and they even brought us a bag of rock salt for the path without being asked We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again, the location is perfect for everything in and around Dunoon and the area is spectacular, lanscape and views to die for!

My family and I stayed within the cottage and I can confirm that we had a lovely stay. The accomodation was clean and well equipped. Ii is within walking distance to town centre and shops. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Dunoon.

Very enjoyable stay, couple of things which would have made it better - mattress on double bed very hard, maybe topper would help and no teapot in kitchen, do not enjoy teabag in mug!

We stayed with 4 Person at the freeland cottage. We had enough space and the garden was also very nice. Everything was to our satisfaction.

Freeland cottage made a great base for our (too) short stay in Dunoon recently. It was well-equipped, very clean and comfortable, and nicely situated to give a short walk into the shops and esplanade, and be convenient for a stroll round Bishop’s Glen. We were lucky with the weather which allowed us to sit out in the lovely sheltered back garden, where there was very comfortable garden furniture. We were all sorry to leave.

Freeland cottage is a lovely place to stay. All mid cons are included and it is well situated for the town of Dunoon and also the country side behind it. Supermarkets and the town centre are in walking distance and many places of interest are a short drive or a ferry journey away. Just a couple of things to note, there was no teapot so I had to go out and buy one and the master bedroom could do with some curtains rather than blinds as it gets light very early in the morning in summer.

A lovely clean warm peaceful and homely cottage. Very close to the centre of town yet having a nice feeling of remoteness. Owner is friendly, helpful and always on hand if needed.
