Forest Cottage on 1/4 Acre

Perfectly located and walking distance from Spanish Bay / Asilomar Beach. Home was very clean and well-maintained with plenty of supplies / amenities for a month long stay. Tamara and Joseph were wonderful hosts and could be reached at a moment's notice no matter the concern. Hope to be back soon in the future!

Loved this little cottage and my husband and I were so sad to leave. It was cute and cozy, located in a quiet and calm neighborhood. The beach was only a 10-ish minute walk away. We loved exploring the area and hope to be back one day!

Perfect location for walks especially with a dog, fun neighbors, nice people everywhere, great hostess, two comfy beds.

We enjoyed staying at this house for a month. The beautiful forest of trees spreading across most of Pacific Grove is a treat. The house is about a ten minute walk to beautiful Asilomar Beach. The weather, of course, is wonderfully cool (we’re from the hot desert). Restaurants and amenities in the area are good, including a Monday afternoon farmer’s market. The house itself is quite old, but the kitchen, utilities, laundry facilities, and Internet /TV have all been nicely upgraded. The host was almost instantly responsive and it was particularly nice that she provided free passes to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We have no real complaints but would have appreciate a few more furniture pieces in the living room and little better outside chairs. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves very much here.

We are so grateful that we got the opportunity to stay in this most adorable and charming house in Pacific Grove. We stayed here for 30 days and I didn't want to leave! Everything is absolutely perfect, clean and comfortable. We appreciate all the little touches so much; such as very comfortable beds, soft bedding, towels, coffee, everything you need for s'mores and even chocolates. The kitchen is completely stocked with pots and pans so you can make meals at home. The house is a great location and less than a ten minute walk to Asilomar beach. The property has a huge yard so kids were happy to play outside on the play structure and throw balls around. Lots of room for dog to run around and Tamara even had pet toys for our dog! The kids, I and my husband were in heaven at this property. Tamara left games and toys, everything to keep kids entertained. The gentle deer would come and roam in the backyard! Tamara is the most wonderful and attentive host. Her response rate was always within minutes! Everything we needed, she made sure we had. She is professional, kind and wants your stay to be utmost enjoyable! I will definitely return here again and dealing with Tamara is a pleasure. I cannot wait to go back, best vacation stay ever!

1935 home that the owner shares as a vacation house for others. What a great idea. The house was old and creaky and I loved it! A huge fenced in yard for my dog to be safe, laundry equipment and smores! So fun!

Not the best vacation we've had. We were not told the gas company was replacing the gas lines on the street which ran along the property lines. Had we known, we would have cancelled. Four days of noise and dust. Had to come and go through a back entrance. Owners provided for just any any need, but that meant little to no room for clothes, toiletries, or personal food. Very little kitchen counter space for meal prep. Comfortable bed, comfortable couch in the living room, plenty of towels. Toys for dogs, stuff for kids, huge yard.

This place worked perfect for our needs; the fenced yard was a great way to allow a little parental relaxation with two young kids - nice bike ride to the aquarium and walk to the beach. We'll be back!

Tamara is an excellent host and provided tons of local recommendations and she thought of everything with the accommodations at the cottage. We spent our days beach and ended our nights with s’mores at the bone fire. The perfect getaway for our family. We’d stay here again.
