Stayed Jan 3, 1Fisherman's Wharf is equipped to the highest standards, and is truly a home from home. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, nice bathrooms, spotlessly clean, and the most amazing views across the harbour and our to sea. Location is excellent and everything is within walking distance. Parking is a bonus and there is a garage as well. Matthew and Rosie are a lovely couple and could not have been more helpful. Also, a special mention to Cassie who was so helpful with our booking! We loved every minute of our stay and would definitely return.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a lovely Xmas holiday at Fisherman’s Wharf. The house was lovely, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed and was in a great location right by the harbour. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very misleading photos of outside space. Not suitable for dogs. Stairs were very challenging if you suffer from a mobility problem. Very good views of the harbour.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The good things about this holiday were the location of the house, the view is really lovely and you are close to eating places and shops. There is a garage which is great if your car will fit in it, ours did, just, there was about half an inch to spare so getting it in was quite difficult each time. The cleanliness of the house looked good on first sight but we realised that there was a lot of dust on mirrors and radiators and the kitchen floor was dirty. The downstairs bedroom is very damp, they try to mask it with perfumed things but it really smells damp, there is a covering of grey mould on the wooden chair and you can see where mould has been taken off the walls and painted over. The bed has obviously not been pulled out in ages, the dust and cobwebs behind the headboard were really thick. The other two bedrooms were ok with lovely views over the harbour. The other main issue is the steepness of the stairs, they are spiral stairs and very steep so if you have any disability issues or age issues, (knees, hips) etc it’s not for you. The toilet on the stairs (in my view) is an accident waiting to happen, stepping out onto those spiral stairs is ?.We had a very nice time taking the ferry to Torquay and going from Paignton to Dartmouth on the steam train etc.
