This was the perfect stay for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The dining room was perfect for eating together, or board games. With the patio entrance at the end of the table it offered a refreshing breeze and a beautiful view. The owner was wonderful at offering suggestions of things to do, and local events happening in the area. The beach near the property was lovely for cooling off, watching the sea life, and looking for sea glass. The community was super friendly and welcoming, and all of the dogs around were well behaved and friendly. If you're looking for a quiet stay, with beautiful views, beaches, and walking trails, then this is the place for you!

The house is located in a quaint and picturesque community off the beaten path. There is a lovely ocean breeze that cools the house down in the evening (if you are concerned about no air conditioning). We did not struggle to sleep in the evenings. The host is amiable and visited us as we were checking out. I mentioned that there was no coffee (only tea) and that there was no laundry detergent (to go along with the washer and the coffee maker). I grew up in the area, so I was able to find these items, but he thanked me for updating him and assured me this is something he would address. This was minor because the rest of the amenities were excellent. The beach is great for an evening stroll and there is ample sea glass for the beach combers out there. Overall, we loved our stay at the Fisherman's rest house.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house has all the amenities we needed. It is clean, lovely, quaint and relaxing just as the tiny community it's located in. Friendly neighbours, lots of trails and close to the points of interest we wanted to explore. The scenery is incredible.

What a great place to just disconnect and relax. Felt like we step back in time with all the amenities. Place is off the beaten track so if you are looking for major tourists attractions you'll need to drive 2h. House is great, super clean with everything you need to cook and relax. Amazing views from the deck and a little beach across the street. We enjoyed the local beaches and even surf at Michaud point. The neighbors are super nice and friendly. We could see ourself spending more time there in the future. Host was really helpful.

The house is on a small cove with beautiful views of the cove and ocean. The porch is delightful in the morning or evening. Quiet area, the road in dead-ends just past the house. Nice walk along the road or on the beach areas. Bob, the owner, was helpful in offering suggestions on local festivals and restaurants. A number of nice hikes on the neighboring Isle Madame. We had a wonderful time!

The house offers a picturesque view from both the living room and dinner room. There is a great beach over 15 minutes drive away, Pondville Beach Provincial Park. The area is quiet and the locals are very friendly.

As you drive up you see the backside of the property and the disappointment starts to set in! The property needs work…absolutely 0 curb appeal! Then you park and think there is an abandoned run down house behind you but actually people live there! Then after having to email last minute to find out how to get into the home you walk into a musty smell! I would have opened to windows but 85%of the screen on the windows were shredded or had holes. No ceiling fans, no fans period, can’t open windows and flannel sheets in the bed mid summer was quite unbearable. No place to really enjoy and have a seat outside the house where you would feel comfortable on the property. Bugs everywhere and conwebs. Window sills were full of dead insects. Property is definitely as advertised. It needs alot of work inside and out. It does have potential!!! Just needs work.
