This wonderfully appointed apartment rests in the fishing village of Mevagissey in Cornwall and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Fishermans Loft is a luxury, first-floor apartment located in the centre of Mevagissey, on the south coast of Cornwall. It offers two bedrooms; a double and a twin, sleeping four people altogether. There is also a bathroom and an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the exterior is off-road parking for one car and a minutes' walk will bring you to all the delights of the village. Fisherman's Loft is the ideal base for touring the many sought-after attractions of Cornwall.

The coastline, beaches and renowned gardens of the Roseland Peninsula are a short drive down the coast while Truro, with its shops, restaurants, theatre and cathedral can be reached by car in half an hour.

    Property and location are excellent. On site parking very much appreciated. Floors, bathroom and surfaces were very tidy and clean. Cutlery, kitchen utensils and kitchen containers all had a fine layer of grease and had to be washed before they could be used. I can only think that the last tenant must have run out of dishwasher tablets and run their last wash with no detergent spreading grease from their plates and pans over everything. I contacted the property manager by text 7 days prior to the date of the booking but heard nothing back. I then texted again 3 days prior, just before getting on the plane from Australia as my arrival time in the UK was going to be less than 48 hours before the booking as well as asking my elderly parents, who are not very good at texting, to text from a UK mobile. I am afraid that the property manager would have got my message in the middle of the night but he did respond the second time as well as responding to my parents and his directions were very good. I would suggest that sending key collection arrangements by e mail and 7 days in advance might be better for your international guests. The stay itself was excellent and we had a great time doing coastal walks and going on a fishing charter with Jamie at Huntress Charters.

    A superb property furbished to a very high standard. Right in the centre of Mevagissey with all facilities close by. Safe off road parking. Could have done with air conditioning in this heatwave!
