Family cottage in Oak Bluffs. Close to town

Excellent property, very close to both oak bluff, Edgartown and vineyard haven. Newly renovated. Owner fantastic communication. We hope to be back !

Online pictures of the home were accurate. The outdoor shower was not operational which was disappointing. Host was quick to respond.

Beautiful house! Good location (1.5 miles from Oak Bluffs ferry terminal - easy bike ride to house) and village of Oak Bluffs. Property owner was communicative & helpful.

Great location, comfortable rooms, well supplied, great amenities especially washer/dryer with the babies. Plan to return again and hopefully stay longer.

We arrived to find a dirty home, garbage strewn across yard, beds not made and an empty toilet paper roll & empty hand soap in bathroom. The host sent a cleaner that night for 2 hours and we had to uber to get tp and soap. The next day we found: - Dishes & silverware in cabinets had food crusted on them & lipstick stains on cups - Spoiled, expired food in the cabinets - Crumbs, stains & dead bugs in drawers & cabinets - Refrigerator with a puddle of water on top shelf - Broken cabinets and toilet disconnected from wall - Rugs smelled like wet dog - No vacuum cleaner for a 3 week stay - No lids on garbage bins outside so animals get in and it smells - Mold & old grounds in coffee maker - Large sharp s'mores skewers all over yard - A layer of grease & dust on surfaces – light bulbs, switches, door handles, frames, floor boards, blinds, ceiling fans etc. Other issues: - House manager dismissive & irritated by our requests. - A cleaner came 6 hrs our 2nd day to deep clean. - Repair men came during stay. - Host sent toilet paper & hand soap days later and said it was not included as an amenity. (Zero hospitality) - House on loud street & busy intersection across from fire station - Large window in shower with no covering so people can see in while you're showering. - Host refused reimbursement for tp and soap or for the 8+ hours we managed cleaners & repair men. - No phone # to contact host. - Host never called us despite 6 requests over the course of our 3 week stay.

It was just myself and a friend’. The house was the perfect size for us. It was thoughtfully decorated in a beach style and very colorful. It was very clean. The outdoor furniture, grill and fire pit provided everything you would want on deck. They provided beach umbrellas and towels. We had one of our best trips to the vineyard.

Clean. Nice linens & towels. All tvs are smart, so remember your streaming passwords. No over the top rules. Felt at home from the moment we entered. Will definitely schedule our next just us time at this house.

My adult daughter stayed there with four friends to celebrate her birthday. They had a fabulous time and they loved the house. Her constructive feedback is that there are only two mirrors in the home which made it difficult for five young women to get ready to go out. Also, the WIFI didn't reach one of the bedrooms and there were a few problems with the TV but they worked through it. All in all, FIVE STARS!
