Fairytale cottage in Chickamauga, GA

This place was amazing! The cottage was adorable, the farm animals were so so cute, the Owl Post and Gift shop are so thoughtful and exciting additions. This property was very peaceful and the cotrage was very clean. The only issue we encountered were ants in the kitchen, but that wasn't that big of a deal. I would definitely stay here again and I'd love to stay at the other cottages on the property!

If you're searching for a unique, fairytale experience, look no further. Almost as if stepping through a magical wardrobe, you'll be transported from civilization into a quaint realm of enchantment. The property owners have mastered blending the modern amenities we are all accustomed to with the most authentic fairytale ambiance we could imagine. We won't dare diminish your experience with too many details, but I am confident that a stay here will linger in your memories with a nolstagia that is unmatched by other adventures. We love the thought of like minded people discovering what we feel is our own personal little hidden treasure of a getaway. Just please leave enough days for us! 3

The property was extremely clean and Kristi was a wonderful host. My friends and I had a wonderful time here. I would highly recommend it to families with children as the host has taken a lot of trouble to make the place engaging for all ages. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity for it arises in the future!

Like visiting a fairy tale!

The cottage was Enchanting. Unique decor. A little dusty due to the amount of nik-naks and cloth on the walls, but overall clean. The house rules are a little unrealistic. No frying, especially chicken. No applying perfume or cologne inside the cabin. The water pressure is good, and has instant heat. Great location for a day at the Chickamauga Battlefield.

Nice quaint little cottage. Small but comfortable. Upstairs bedrooms not conducive for large people. Only one shower/bath but ample hot water. Owner is very helpful and friendly.

The owner was a very down to earth kind of person, she made my wife, my kids and me feel at home from the moment we stepped out of the car. We will definitely book another stay in the near future.

Such a cute fairytale cottage. We loved our stay. The owner was easy to communicate with. The cottage is spacious and roomy even though it looks small on the outside.

Truly a unique place. Very much a faery tale location. Just like a Hansel and Gretel story come to life. If I was traveling with a bright and imaginative child I would think this place very heaven for her/him. Filled with toys, dolls, beautiful furniture. Lovely grounds too.

The cottage was the cutest place I’ve ever stayed and felt so welcoming. I loved the theme and how comfortable the house was. The host was so easy to communicate with.

Very unique cottage and property with several other themed lodgings and themed common areas. Goats and miniature horse on property you can pet and feed. Cottage has so many treasures to look at , beds are comfy, and space is used well. Very close to downtown Chickamauga but still in a country setting. Highly recommend this property and host.

Not as seen in photos! Pics make the place seem like a cute little themed cottage with plenty of natural light and tasteful decorations. The place was cramped and overdone with stuff, had towels and other non-curtain fabric hanging on windows. Had an overpowering scent of mildew. Everything we took into the house smells terrible now and has to be washed ASAP.

What a charming and fun place. Truly a wonderful experience for families. The host has thought of everything. Every detail is planned out, thoughtful, and geared to accommodate the guests that stay. The host was fantastic at communicating the expectations and responded promptly to every message. When we pulled in, the string lights were on, the atmospheric lighting inside was already on for us, so when you pull up and walk in for the first time, it feels quite magical. As beautiful as the home was, the owl watching station was our favorite. We wished we had more than one night there to enjoy that space more, but the wax sealing station, the fanciful things to look at in every nook and cranny is just so imaginative and fun. The little general store is adorable and we loved looking at the little trinkets for sale. The dvd and game collection to borrow from is also a wonderful touch to provide to families. The host cares deeply for this place and you can see that in all the details from the scavenger hunt, to the firewood and marshmallow roasting sticks being provided. Some of the rules are a bit different than what some are probably used to, but when you get there, you can see why those rules exist. Hands down was a wonderful experience and even though we only had one night to enjoy it, we couldn’t have asked for a better first night stay to kick off our family vacation. 100% would recommend checking this place out. The goats and mini horse are a fantastic bonus!!

We had a wonderful stay! Everything in the cottage is so thoughtfully placed, creating a unique getaway from everyday life. Communication with the host was prompt, courteous and helpful.

This cottage was amazing, definitely fitting the fantasy/Harry Potter theme. Mood throughout the place with dim lights and decor to match. Not a complaint about the cabin but be aware Chickamauga basically shuts down at 6pm during the week.

It was a magical experience.

We had the best time at this little cottage! There is so much thought behind every detail. Kristi was the best host! We enjoyed the goats and, Fancy, the mini horse, loved the little store and the barn. We also met Kristi’s parents. They were the sweetest and really enjoyed talking to them! They told us where to find a bent trail tree on the property too! Loved taking a walk with my family and finding it. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us. We enjoyed it and will have to come back!

House was very clean and cozy and exactly as pictured. Quiet setting and my boys loved having tons of room to play outside.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was fun and very eclectic, with lots of character, and it was exceptionally clean. Check-in was easy and communication with the host was great. We only stayed one night while in town for a baby shower, but it was comfortable and exactly what we needed.

Fantastic house on a farm with other themed houses. The house was so cozy and there was plenty of room for the family. The goats, mini horse, owl barn and shop was a nice touch too. Loved exploring the property as well.

We only spent one night. Didn't cook. Used the fire pit for campfire and s'mores. A few of the wall switches didn't operate any lights. Very unique themed decor.k

My wife and I are senior citizens and this cute cottage did not have some of the amenities that we’ve had at other VRBO places we’ve stayed but we were there to visit our daughter and grandson. We were there for a short stay and this was nearby and at a reasonable price. No complaints

Check-in and check-out were quick and simple. The kitchen and cooking utensils were a great addition and very helpful for us! The house was clean and had lots of sleeping areas for our group! However, some lights wouldn't turn on, and it was very cold as we weren't allowed to turn the AC up. Those are very minor things, and we overall enjoyed our stay!

Magical property. Host was accommodating and helpful in every way, even found and returned a lost pillow for us. Would highly recommend!

Well thought out, well executed in all the parts of the house, looking like different fairytales. We have a lot of fun with the scavenger hunts, visiting the gift shop and seeing the other properties. The games and toys available along with the dress up stuff. Note that one of the upstairs beds does squeak, may be great for some people, but not great for people with sensory issues or autism. Over all our stay was magical!

The space was so cute and the property manager reached out and made sure we understood everything we needed to know. I definitely recommend the place but not for toddlers.

The little details were so fun! The kids did the scavenger hunt and had a blast looking all around the property.

The house is utterly charming. My kids (11 and almost 14) were so excited to find all the scavenger hunt items and see all the little hidden gems throughout. We did our sightseeing during the day and watched the provided DVDs and played board games in the evenings. There is a cute little gift shop with special trinkets on the property so bring cash in smallish bills to enjoy! There are several other properties that were so fun to see the exterior and explore the outside scavenger hunt too. The host was easy to communicate with.

This property even just for two adults was so perfect! We brought a lot of items with us for the kitchen that we didn’t even need to use because they had everything we could think of! The decorations were so cute and it was just so fun to be in! We absolutely will be coming back!

This is a cute cozy cabin that we enjoyed. The host has an eye for decorating. We enjoyed the grounds too. They have some goats and a small horse. The little store on the property was nice too. It is obvious that the host has thought of everything to make your stay great. The only comment I would add was that the kitchen had limited cookware and the kitchen table only had three chairs. Overall this is a wonderful place to stay.

We rented this cottage for my daughter’s 15th bday. I brought her and her two best friends (and a friend for me) and to say we had a blast would be an understatement. The kids are begging to go back.

We only stayed one night but the place was so charming! All the fairy tale touches were magical. The beds were comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. The property it is on is beautiful also with other themed cottages. The host was very responsive . Definitely want to come back!

My wife and I enjoyed staying in the fairytale cottage and walking the grounds in the morning. The cottage is a unique collection of fantasy and fairytale combining for a splendid experience. Clearly a labor of love. Our host was as nice as could be. Will visit again if we can.

As described. Very cute and fun. Beds were comfortable. All things were small...tea cups, bowls and plates. The grounds are fun. We enjoyed feeding the pygmy goats and miniature horse. The area was convenient to many places we visited. We would totally go again to visit another house!

I can honestly say we were absolutely blown away by the details in the cottage. I would pay double what she charges.

I honestly can't say enough about how amazing the disconnect to reality is here. The people making up this space seemingly thought of everything. There were moments where I said it would be cool if.. and then we found it. It's so immersive and beautiful and thought through with such care. I wish we could have stayed a week. Honestly, don't even doubt this one. It's everything the description and pictures say it is. I can't wait to find time to come back for a longer stay.
