Fairview Garden Cottage

We had such a nice stay here! Micheal and Rebecca are wonderful host who really care about their property! They made us feel right at home! They even reached out after our stay and found that we left a personal item in their cottage and mailed it to us without any expectations. Would definitely suggest this property to anyone who’s visiting the Asheville area!

The host was great with communication and the place was very clean!

Great location. Check in was easy and was able to check in early. Communication with host was quick and efficient. The privacy of the cottage was respected. Beds and couch were comfortable. Would def stay again.

The host welcomed us in person, and offered to assist us in anyway. Even to run errands for us if necessary. The cottage is cozy and comfortable and well stocked with everything one might need.

My friend and I had a great stay at this cottage! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, the rooms were super cute and comfortable, and the outdoor area was so lovely for just sitting outside and relaxing. We also loved the outdoor fire pit. Rebecca and Michael were amazing hosts. I would absolutely come back for another stay here, and highly recommend it to anyone else!

Great place. Really nice

By far the best VRBO I have ever stayed in. Rebeca and Michael were terrific! Everything was clean and well taken care of. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area. Their house is across a courtyard area, but you would have never known. The privacy and quietness made the stay that much better! Highly recommend!

This is the cutest little cottage. We truly enjoyed our stay here. It was so nice and clean. You truly felt right at home. The patio was perfect and we even got to see some bunnies! Truly felt like our own private oasis.

Fairview Secret Garden Guest Cottage is truly a slice of heaven in the heart of North Carolina. The location is absolutely perfect — private and peaceful, yet still close enough to everything you need. We loved the walkability to the local small brewery, which gave the trip an extra fun touch. The views are stunning, and the cottage itself offers just the right mix of comfort and seclusion. It felt like our own little retreat, tucked away from the world. The patio space was so peaceful and I could have sat outside looking at the mountain in the distance for hours. What really sets this place apart, though, are the hosts. They were the most gracious and welcoming people — available when we needed them, but always respectful of our privacy. You can tell they truly care about their guests’ experience.We’ll absolutely be back to this magical North Carolina escape. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with all the right touches!

We loved staying here!! It was so cozy, extremely clean, had every thing you would need, and had a lot more than you could ask for. Rebecca was kind enough to give me a tour of her garden! Such a sweet family. We will be back! 10/10 recommend.

Property is as advertised. Cleanliness is excellent. Hosts are nice and friendly. Everything is stocked well. Quite area. Overall - excellent place to stay.

These are the best hosts that VRBO could have. They have thought of every detail and go above and beyond to make their cottage and your stay the best possible. Super clean, new and well appointed with extra nice additions in every room. Healthy tea selection, spices, and staples in the fully complete kitchen. Cozy fireplaces in the living room and bedroom. Super comfy bed and quiet location. Beautiful patio and garden, firepit and bbq. If you need ANYTHING, the hosts are right next door and happy to provide or help in any way.

Pros for the rental: Completely clean Very comfortable with nice warm lamps and comfortable couches Well stocked kitchen - coffee and snacks! Nice beds (wonderful box fan!!) Fantastic courtyard and garden, with vegetables available to eat! Hooks - I love to be able to hang everything up to either air or dry. Very friendly and accommodating hosts who are just next door so are available if needed, or will leave you alone if not. Location 20 mins to Chimney Rock - our favorite hiking place Cons: NONE! Rebecca and Michael were lovely hosts. Rebecca even brought over additional books when I asked about waterfalls. There is so much good information provided, in the rental, including a hand drawn map showing where the local coffee shop and grocery shops are. Sitting in the courtyard, you do feel like you're in an oasis, though it would be easy to get just about everything you need within a short walk or a short drive (Dollar General a few mins away by car for items beyond a grocery store). I enjoyed the feel of the rental, with its beautiful floor, controllable track lighting and warm lamps. Also enjoyed that the surfaces were available for use, not cluttered. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. There was a minor problem upon our arrival, but the hosts went above and beyond to correct it. The house is immaculate with no detail overlooked to make sure guests are comfortable. The private and beautiful patio was a garden oasis that we enjoyed for meals or a glass of wine

This has been my favorite place to stay in the Asheville area. The hosts went above and beyond to make my sister and me feel welcome and comfortable. The back patio area was a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a busy day. It’s a short drive to downtown Asheville, Black Mountain, Biltmore, and much more! Looking forward to our next NC trip and stay at this cozy cottage.

Very clean cottage, included outside covered patio, and the cottage provided easy access to the Fletcher area.
