Stayed Jul 19, 2023We enjoyed a nice relaxing week in a beautiful home set in a beautiful area. The accommodations were excellent with everything we needed. Angela and her family were so friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Stayed Aug 10, 2024Our 6-night stay in this 2-bedroom cottage in Black Forest / Colorado Springs was an absolute gem! Our family of three enjoyed a peaceful stay surrounded by the beauty of pine trees and the quiet of nature. Mornings on the back patio, sipping coffee, listening to the windchimes, and taking in the forest view, were truly idyllic. The property/cottage was well-maintained and lovingly designed for relaxation, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Each morning, we enjoyed feeding the goats, sheep and pigs before heading out for our day. After a day of activities, we enjoyed the drive in the woods and coming back to the cottage. Highly recommend for a rejuvenating escape!

Stayed Aug 4, 2024We all loved our time at The Nest. The setting was picturesque and peaceful. The house had basic necessities and then some! Our girls loved meeting the animal neighbors and treating them to animal crackers. One of our favorite places to stay by far.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024My sister and I stayed a week at the Nest. We absolutely loved it, and Angela is lovely! We really enjoyed the critters. They are hilarious when dinner is late, in their minds. We had everything we needed. It was spotless and peaceful.

Stayed Jul 5, 2024We enjoyed our stay! We loved the house and the set up. Excellent communication with the host for the minor issues we had like learning how to lock the door with a unique keypad. All issues were promptly addressed. Our only disappointment was upon arrival it looked like it had not been vacuumed, though it likely was because when I found the vacuum it was completely full, so I dumped it and vacuumed the whole house again and it sucked everything up. From point everything else was fine. Our son loved the animals! The house is fully stocked with kitchen items and nice appliances. The master shower is handicapped accessible and there are no stairs which is very thoughtful. There were plenty of clean linens and the washer and dryer work great. We would absolutely stay again!

Stayed Jun 29, 2024It is a perfect place to stay because of its location, cleanliness and the animals were a fun, unique part of our stay. While here, we went to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and Estes Park. The house is stocked with everything imaginable, we basically only needed our clothing. Owners are super nice and we highly recommend staying at The Nest!

Stayed May 23, 2024Our family had a lovely 3 night stay at this house. This is a guest house on a larger property. Easy enough to find and check-in instructions were clear. The animals were a nice added bonus, just watch out for the pigs, they bite! Thankfully, the house is stocked with Band-Aids! We had one issue with the door locks, and sent a question to the owners which never responded. We eventually figured it out. The beds were comfortable (even though we don’t love flannel sheets as they were scratchy) , all bedrooms come with TV and streaming. The kitchen is very nicely stocked. We cooked breakfast daily and had everything we could need. It could have been cleaner (windows, table in back patio, window screen areas had many dead bugs, etc), but overall we would stay here again since it was quiet and peaceful.

Stayed May 3, 2024This place had a little bit of everything. Great location (only 30 min from Garden of the Gods), close restaurants and nice scenery. What we got as a bonus was a tiny little farm complete with goats, chickens and pigs that surprised and delighted my daughter (and the adults, can’t lie the pigs are adorable). We will certainly choose this place again in the future!
