Bailey Island, Maine
Perfectly set in Bailey Island's Oceanside neighborhood, this charming cottage offers beautiful easterly views of Casco Bay, as well as a right of way to a sandy shoreline just at the end of the road. Guests will enjoy being a comfortable walk away from Cedar Beach, Bailey Island General Store, Fish Net Café, and convenient to Cook's Lobster & Ale House. Overall, the place had everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Location is good, but view of the waterfront is obstructed. With that said, there's plenty of places to go around Bailey Island to see the water front. Cabin was small and cozy, but had everything you need including kitchen items and grilling items. Expect some bugs like ants and months and flies. Some ants even made it to our journey back home. We made the most of our stay by going around various city centers and towns, which turned out to be great. Lots of restaurants around for lobster rolls. Some vendors of live lobsters and crabs if you want to make them yourself. Overall a great stay for myself, my wife, and 1yo and dog. I think this is the best size, any more people and it can get crowded in this cabin.
A cozy place to call home for a long weekend. Everything about the cottage was perfect. The Fishnet Cafe has the best food and gf options. The Land's End gift shop was fun and the views of Casco Bay are mesmerizing. Visit Cedar Beach for seaglass treasures and bring your beach chairs for relaxation. The salty breezy air and sun was just what our souls needed. The views are amazing. Bailey's Island we will sea you again in the future. Thank you Maine Stay Vacations for the communications.
Property met our needs 100%. The property manager was very responsive and very accommodating to make sure our stay was pleasant. Highly recommend as a quiet getaway spot close to everything you’d need.
