Very relaxing.

This property was beautiful. Huge private back yard. Private pier. The whole lake/ area is very quiet and relaxing. Definitely not a party lake/ area . It was exactly what we wanted/ needed.

A pleasant place on a quiet lake. We requested an extra night due to car issues and the hosts were very gracious about it. Sunrises were gorgeous! We had trouble getting tv channels we were used to, but spent the time sitting outside and watching the stars. We would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Cute cottage with a beautiful view! Very comfortable, clean, updated with nice king size bed. Nice area with plenty of space for dog to run and take her for a walk. Owners were very nice and had great communication. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time here! This property was a great getaway from the city and to relax a bit. SO quiet. I wish the weather had been warmer, but we still enjoyed the paddle boats, the grill, and fishing. Our dog also loved the property. It's very private with plenty of space for him to run around. We will definitely be back :)

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed the boats and the lake as well.

We really enjoyed staying here. The view was beautiful and peaceful and so relaxing. The cabin is very cozy, we felt right at home.

Grandpas Place was very comfy and cozy. Very quiet location, others were there in the neighboring places but you couldn't tell. The only item i wish was there was a first aid kit, only because I needed a band-aid, lol.

Worked out quite well for us. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboat on the lake. Its a small unit but perfect for 2 adults/2 children.

Richard and Mary's cottage is immaculate and cozy. The quiet lake setting was the perfect spot for morning coffee, bird watching and nightime campfires. The proximity of Kiel and Elkhart Lake made day trips a breeze. We will definitey return!

Nice property and area. Firewood was a nice touch.

The place was as described. The only complaint was that it took two days to get a response from the owner when trying to find out the check in information. Finally received a call back when we were only an hour away. I was concerned about how we were going to get in with no information.

Nice clean place to stay.

We experienced a death in the family. The cottage was quiet and healing. I loved being able to look at the lake and hear the ducks.

My with and I, both in our 70’s with husband needing walker. We had planned to have a last summer trip, and this could not have been nicer. Extremely clean, well suited for a walker, beautiful lakeside view with adjoining fire pit. The owners were both very accomadating and readily available for any questions. It was a wonderful way for us to end the summer. Thank you to the owners.

For relaxing, good place

The property is exactly as the pictures show. The patio is private and offers a beautiful view of the lake. The lake was very weedy in mid-July. Kiel is a quick drive into town for groceries. If you want a quiet getaway, you'll be pleased.

What a wonderful stay with Richard and Mary! The bedroom windows and sliding glass door look out over the lake, the lake breeze is especially pleasant in the evening, and the A/C made for comfortable sleeping in a wonderful bed. The reading chair with a view of the lake was perfect -- and so was the chance to take the new pup out for her first pedal boat ride just at sunset. I look forward to returning for further adventures and relaxation!

The photos were very accurate and the cottage was a perfect size for 2 people looking to get away for a few days. Everything was clean and AC worked great. Even though the owners lived next door, they gave us plenty of privacy after the initial welcome. We ran out of time to use the kayak and paddleboat, but we enjoyed floating off the dock. I only wish there weren't so many weeds, but I know those are getting removed. Enjoying coffee at daybreak and roasting marshmallows on the fire pit at sunset are a must. We have friends that live on this lake, so this was a great location. Grocery store and restaurants were a short drive and we were only 35 minutes from Kettle moraine forest for hiking. Thanks to the owners for sharing their cottage with us! We will be back.

Roomy enough for two adults, clean and well maintained property with a lake view and a dock right out the patio door. Perfect for summer time relaxing.
