Ellishayes Farmhouse occupies a private wing of a beautifully preserved Grade II listed 16th‑century farmhouse, set within a peaceful valley just outside the market town of Honiton. The property is self‑contained, with its own entrance and private gardens.
Accommodation is arranged across four bedrooms: a king‑size bedroom with en‑suite shower room (shower, wash basin and WC); a king‑size bedroom with en‑suite bathroom (bath with hand‑held shower, wash basin and WC); a twin bedroom; and a single bedroom with an optional pull‑out truckle bed. These are served by a family bathroom with freestanding bath, shower cubicle, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.
The ground floor comprises a lounge with inglenook fireplace and wood‑burning stove, dining room, kitchen/breakfast room, and separate snug with wood‑burner. The kitchen is equipped with an AGA, range cooker with electric oven and gas hob, American‑style fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. An external utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The farmhouse has central heating and wood‑burning stoves. A Smart TV and Wi‑Fi are provided. Bed linen, towels and logs for the wood‑burning stoves are included.
Outside is an enclosed front garden with lawns, cottage‑style planting, a small pond and garden furniture, enjoying open countryside views. Allocated off‑road parking is available for two cars.
Ellishayes Farmhouse is pet friendly, welcoming up to two well‑behaved dogs. In line with the Countryside Code, dogs should be kept under close control on local footpaths and bridleways, as livestock may be present.
