East Side Owasco Lake Waterfront Cottage!

A very pleasant stay, and spacious enough for family visits and dinners.

Great place, steps from the lake. Small, but fine for our family of 4. Owner lives a few doors down. Very nice. Quiet residential neighborhood. Would definitely go back!

I've rented dozens of camps/houses, etc all across the US. I housesat for 3 years; beautiful homes. I even housesat in Fiji for 4 months. This home is top 3, no doubt. Excellent everything. Private each is perfect for any age (had my grandkids visit). Quiet location, central air, anything you can imagine needing. Going back in Sept. 2025 for a little fishing/golfing. Also figuring out which 2 weeks I'm getting July/Aug 2026.

This cottage was exactly as described and pictures were accurate. The three-season porch was perfect for reading and relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. The location is outside of town with all conveniences just a short drive away. We owners were just two houses down and very pleasant. It was a pleasure to meet them while we were there.

We were very pleased with this property. Very clean and had everything we needed for our wedding stay.

Our family enjoyed our stay on Owasco Lake, and can't wait to come back next year.

The house, location, weather were all sublime. Had the chance to speak with the owners and they were terrific. Then there was the property manager…..She was out of town, had failed to send the access code and didn’t reply to my message until the next morning!! The chance communication with the owners got us in. But once the manager knew we were in that was it. We did not hear another peep from her. No inquiry if there was anything else we might need. When you screw up, own it and make amends promptly. “Oops this never happens” doesn’t cut it. If she had followed up with a mea culpa I wouldn’t be writing this now. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Aside from that hiccup it was a perfect stay. Thanks and we would consider returning.

This cottage was a joy to rent. It was well decorated, with attention to detail, and comfortable. The water access was good and it had chairs near the water. It was great to just sit and enjoy watching the boats and the sunsets, which were lovely. Good place to launch a kayak or canoe.

I needed a quiet get-away and this sweet little cottage gave me just that! Located in a small neighborhood, this cottage provided all necessities and a few extras. I wouldn't say that the cottage is anything fancy, but it went way beyond my expectations by providing an extremely clean, safe, and comfortable stay. It's located lakefront and the sunsets were beautiful. I would definitely recommend the cottage to friends and if I need another get-away, I wouldn't hesitate to book again!

See above. Almost any need a guest might have for a pleasant stay was anticipated and provided for. Noon checkout time might be more guest-friendly.
