“Dutch Harbor”-Mackinaw City, walking distance to town!

My family really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, very cute, and reasonably priced. The host communication was great. Exactly what we were wanting. 10/10 recommend!

Dutch Harbor was an excellent choice for our family. Dining, shopping and transit to Mackinac Island were all very accessible and within easy walking distance from our location. As a matter of fact we didn’t move the cars out of the driveway at all on Saturday. The neighborhood was very quiet and the property was well kept. There were plenty of towels for the six of us. The property was well stocked with all necessary supplies. The hosts were very easy to work with and check-in was a breeze. Would definitely recommend. The other two units on the property looked very lovely as well. We definitely made the right choice and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Cozy and clean. Kitchen was fully stocked.. We didn't have time to fully utilize the outdoor accommodations, but they looked fun.Close to so many activities.

Dutch Harbor was a great cottage for our annual girls weekend! The location was perfect! Very close to everything. Kitchen had what we needed. Having one and a half bathrooms was very nice. We used all the bedrooms and the trundle bed up front and all were comfortable.

Beautiful cottage. Nice and clean. So many personal touches made our stay enjoyable. I loved all the outdoor seating. Bed and furniture were very comfortable. We would love to stay again.

Very clean. Prompt response from property manager. Walking distance to restaurants, ferry, fort, downtown Mackinac City. Quick easy access to the bridge and UP.

We were to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Your cottage is just what we needed. Comfortable just a great place to be. Enjoy Mackinaw city the downtown was fabulous. And going to Mackinac Island. Thank you again for wonderful time. We plan on coming back next fall.

The cottage has lots of character and everything needed for our 3 day stay. It was especially nice to look through the photo album to see the beginning and end remodel project which was nicely done by Todd and Jackie. Lots of attention to detail. The location was perfect. Close to everything, yet far enough removed to feel peaceful and quiet. The house was so cozy and comfortable. If only every location could be this enjoyable.

It was a beautiful house and we loved every bit of it. If we come back to this area again, you will be our first look because we enjoyed this house so much! It was clean and the host took well care of it. It was our home away from home.

We rented all 3 cabins on property. We had a couples retreat. We could not of asked for a better time. Super close to the shopping stip. (2 blocks) absolutely fantastic time

This was a great stay! So cute and charming, and everything was laid out extremely conveniently and thoughtfully. The hosts were attentive and responsive whenever we had questions, and the location was awesome for all that we came to Mackinaw for. Highly recommend! :)

Everything was great as usual! Only one little recommendation, the mattress on the back porch bed could use a new one. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and will be back in 2027!!

The house was nice. The queen size bed probably could have either turned over or a new one. Other than that almost everything was good. We enjoyed the time there.

One of the best VRBOs I've encountered. Hosts are kind and the house is better than advertised. So many attractions are short walks away, and the house offers spaces for both socializing and relaxing. If I ever return to this area, I would absolutely stay here again.

We loved everything about Dutch Harbor cottage. It was adorable and spotless with so much attention to detail. We have to accommodate special diets (vegetarian, gluten-free) so do most meals ourselves to also stay “budget friendly” which is why I SO appreciated the nice quality cookware! Not the usual hodgepodge of peeling teflon coated pans that we find in other places we’ve stayed. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. Walking distance to cute shops, and the ferry to Mackinac Island. However, we drove 15 minutes across the bridge to St. Ignace to take the “Classic” ferry since we had 4 Adult tickets to buy and even with the parking and tolls, we saved over 40, plus we wanted to check out St. Ignace and experience the bridge anyway. The only thing I would have changed is I wish we had booked a longer stay. Next time!Be sure to check out the photo book in the cottage detailing the renovation. You’ll be amazed!

What an adorable cabin. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The cabin was nice and clean. Our only “room for improvement “ is the living room furniture was miserably uncomfortable and needs to be upgraded. We would stay again. Overall better than expected. Thank you.

Adorable! The cottage was clean, comfortable, and felt like home the minute we walked in the door. Having a second bathroom (half-bath) was a much-appreciated bonus. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it was just a 10 minute walk to the Shepler ferry, shops and restaurants— so we didn’t have to pay for parking while on our visit to Mackinac Island. We had a wonderful mother/daughter/sister/niece/cousin (whew!) girls’ trip and our stay at Dutch Harbor did not disappoint. We recommend this rental without hesitation!

The property was just like the photos online! We had colder weather so we didn’t get to use the deck. The cabin was walking distance to almost everything!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay that this cottage. It was very clean but cozy!! And I LOVED little reading nook by the front door! I’m so happy that we picked this cabin for we will remember it as we got engaged during our stay!

We’ve traveled quite a bit. I can say without a doubt hands down this is the BEST Vrbo we’ve EVER stayed in! Not only was it beautifully decorated, it was spotless and so peaceful! It was close to everything & we loved being able to walk to the beach. We especially loved all the personal touches, coffee table books and family photos. We were very spoiled as most places don’t provide paper products, foil, plastic wrap, dishwasher/laundry soap, candles, cooking spices, coffee and even firewood! We loved every minute of our week & can’t wait to come back! We would highly recommend it to anyone! Thanks for sharing!
