This lovely cottage is comfortable, clean, and well supplied. The layout includes two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two single beds. There is a kitchen, bathroom with a tub, living room with a sleeper sofa, and a screened-in porch. Ideal for up to four people. The cottage has WiFi, cable TV, heat and A/C.

Stayed Jul 5, 2025Everything was lovely. The only drawback was the mosquitos ( which is no fault of anyone, and they do spray). Location is fantastic for quiet, easy access to beaches, restaurants, trails. Property management is very responsive and the facilities are clean and conducive to settling in comfortably.

Stayed Oct 1, 2019We’ve stayed here many times before. It is always clean and consistent. The owners are very friendly and eager to please. The grounds are nice and the island quaint. Highly recommended!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Only thing could have been a bidder dining table and better wifi. Great location, great accomodation, only bad thing that week,there was a lot of mosquito on the site but not at the beach or city

Stayed Jul 20, 2019We had a lovely week at Cottage In The Lane, staying in a cute two bedroom cottage with our boys - ages 3 and 8. It had everything we needed for our stay and we could comfortably prepare and eat meals together. The grounds are kept in immaculate condition and it's really peaceful. It's also very nice that there are only 10 cottages on the property (instead of many more squeezed in tightly). I was able to go for nice morning runs to the beach and back, but it's easier to take the car and park nearby when you have all your beach gear and kids with you. This was our 3rd stay in Wells and we certainly enjoyed it very much. We'll be back!

Stayed Jun 7, 2018We enjoyed our time at the cottage. We were impressed with how clean it was. The beach was only a short drive away. Unfortunately, the mattresses were rock hard.
