Stayed Dec 31, 1969The cottage was ideally placed for visiting the various prehistoric sites in the Vesere Valley, for example the caves at Lascaux, for exploring the nearby towns, such as Sarlat and for enjoying the countryside and attractions around the Dordogne. Our cottage was very private even though there were many other guests staying in the adjacent properties. The swimming pool was lovely and we never had to share it with anyone else. One thing we didn't like was that the bathroom and WC are both downstairs, with doors leading directly from the kitchen, which is not ideal from the point of view of hygiene.
