I liked the location and parking was perfect. It was truly a pet friendly home. Beach access was very convenient, a short walk away. Looking forward to staying here again in the near future. Enjoyed using the outdoor shower to keep the sand outside.

The house wasn't too bad. It was a nice location however the bathroom was really small. Then there's the hot tub and the pool. The hot tub didn't get hot and the pool was on another property and it was dirty. The owners were the worst part. The man was in the house when they thought no one was there. We also seen him everyday while we were there, sometimes 2 or 3 times. It was very annoying and my kids were not happy.

We have stayed here before & enjoy the house. It is a quaint house with a lot of charm & is close to the beach. Owner is quick to communicate. This year, however, we were not told the pool was under repair (so not useable) & with 2 of our group being in their 80’s, they were counting on having the pool to enjoy their trip. (They cannot tolerate the beach for long). The grill igniter was not working & we had to buy a long grill lighter to try to get it working since we brought food to grill). The out door shower was great in the past. Now there is a towel wrapped around the shower head & looks in need of repair. Same with outdoor sink. The back yard is very overgrown by the hot tub & broken pieces of fire pit in the yard. 1 ceiling fan on the porch is broken & a few of the fork handles break when used. Would love to have more cutlery, there are only 5 forks. Was just a little disappointed this year in some of the neglect in outdoor space in the back, the grill & the fact we were not told about the pool.

We had the BEST here! The home has everything you need. Even cooked a great dinner one evening! Location can’t be beat. Beds are comfortable. We spent a ton of time on the amazing front porch. We had our almost five year old daughter with us and she loved the house as well. We can’t wait to return next year!!

The cottage was very neat and tidy. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. We really enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch.The cottage was only a 5 minute walk from the beach. Its is also located in a beautiful neighborhood!

This place was AMAZING! We spent so much time on the screened-in front porch, I thought husband was going to sleep in the hammock. Excellent location, easy to get everywhere and you can walk to the beach easily. I would definitely stay here again!

Extremely clean and comfy. Screened in porch was a delight, as well as the hot tub for hubby's aching back! Bed very comfy as well. Had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Home was clean, beds super comfortable, quiet neighborhood within walking distance of public beach and restaurants . . . we did not use hot tub so can't comment on that.

We love staying here near the beach with the dogs. The host is welcoming and we can't wait to visit again.

Screened porch is the best part!

The property was perfect for me, my husband, and our senior dog. We enjoyed the stay and location of the house.

There was a small problem that the property manager got on right away.

It was okay, but need to make sure walk way and steps are cleaned off of acorns! Toilet seat was loose on commode! No sharpener for knives! Not enough space in bathroom, hard to get off commode!

We've been coming to IOP for 6 years now and 5th stay with Marilyn! This house is perfect for us. The first year we stayed downstairs and then the other years we've stayed upstairs with our daughter. The location is so perfect, easy walk to the beach, quick drive to Sullivan's and Charleston. As soon as you walk in, it smells so clean from the fridge to the bedsheets! We found a bug or two but that's expected in the humid, June/July IOP climate! There is the adjacent pool that we've used in the past and it was great as well as the hot tub, but our daughter only wanted to go the beach this year! This property is truly a gem and can't imagine staying anywhere else!

We had the loveliest stay! My kids were home from college and the four of us had the best week hanging out on the porch, watching the stars from the hot tub, and spending many days walking and enjoying the beach. This house was perfect for all of this. I would recommend her home completely!

Another great beach vacation on IOP! The cottage is so cute and comfortable. The screened front porch is the best. Short walk to the beach. Convenient to shops and restaurants. Marilyn is friendly and responsive. 5-Stars!!

Beach was close, outside shower was convenient, having laundry facility was nice, having access to a pool and a hot tub was great for the kids. Overall, really great experience.

Price was reasonable. Cute exterior. Great location. Porch is chill. Fridge is spacious and very cute. Hot tub was nice. Pool had low water and on adjacent property, so we didn’t use it. It should be disclosed that there is a first floor apartment. It was accessed by a male who did landscaping while myself and my children were there. I reached out to the host at that time and got no response. The deadbolt on main door is very difficult to lock. Shower inside bathroom needs better cleaning. Washing machine was unusable as it was very moldy and had a strong musty smell, so had to do our washing elsewhere. Host stated they were sorry and would have it serviced. Also, listing states “dog friendly”, but there are about 1k glass ornamental figurines and empty wine bottles everywhere you look. Thankfully we left our pup behind for this trip and my children are no longer small.

We have stayed here 3 times now. As always, it was perfect!!

The cottage was very charming and orderly. It was only two blocks from the beach! It was such a relaxing getaway in a gorgeous neighborhood!

Adorable cottage with an eclectic design. Front porch is wonderful to sit in and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The yard is cozy with a hot tub that was ready to use. Very quiet area.

We had a great time here. It’s a block off the beach in a quiet area. Screened porch was our favorite. Beds were comfortable. Owner was very responsive and great to work with. Location on Isle of Palm was fantastic—about 25 minutes to downtown Charleston and only 10 minutes to Mount Pleasant. We look forward to coming back!

Comfortable historic cottage in great location on Isle of Palms. I've been coming to IOP for over twenty years and this has been my favorite location to stay on the island.

This is a quintessential beach cottage. The proximity to the beach is great - about a 5 minute walk. The decor is fun - so many things to look at and discover the owner’s travels and family. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fenced back yard was great for our dogs. Checking in and out was a breeze.

This is our 2nd time staying here! Great location, clean and exactly what is described. Will definitely be back again!!
