DAIRY YARD COTTAGE forms part of a listed stone barn, dating back to the eighteenth century, which has been sympathetically renovated, retaining many of the period features and character of the original farm building, such as flagstone floor, beamed ceilings and exposed timbers.
Carefully restored and decorated in a classic, country style with neutral colours, sea grass floor coverings etc., it provides a comfortable base, in a peaceful rural setting, from which to discover the Cotswolds.
It is an ideal retreat for a couple or small family and many of our visitors have become regular guests here.
Spread over two floors, the entrance hall, with cloakroom/ WC, leads through to a light, airy, reception room with plenty of space for both relaxing and dining. The door from the main room leads to a modest size, well equipped, fitted kitchen. An easy rise staircase opens onto a spacious landing, two pretty bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom has a king size bed with bedside tables, wardrobe, dressing table, etc and there is sufficient space to erect a travel cot for guests with a baby. The second bedroom is smaller, has twin beds and is ideal for an additional adult guest or children. The bathroom, with basin and WC, has a fitted shower above the bath. There is plenty of off street parking directly outside the cottage.
Dairy Yard Cottage is set within the grounds of Home Farm, a classic Cotswold stone farmhouse, where we have lived for over three decades. Our four children had a wonderful 'free range' childhood growing up here, surrounded by dogs, cats, chickens and with sheep and horses grazing in the fields beyond - we are now welcoming our grandchildren here! Our guests also appear to get enormous pleasure enjoying the space and rural atmosphere of the area and a chance to unwind in the gently, rolling Cotswold hills.

We (family with two teenage kids) very much enjoyed our stay at Sally's barn. Lovely garden, nice view into the green.. The dogs were nice to play with.Barn was cozy and clean, kitchen well equipped. We also had no trouble finding the place, the vrbo link worked well. There are a couple of chairs to bring and sit outside, the outdoor table has seen better days but it worked for us to eat outside.Would come again!

Lovely, peaceful property with everything you need! Sally-Anne is very welcoming and provides a notebook of helpful information. Kineton is small but has a great pub and is conveniently located for shopping and site-seeing at larger villages such as Broadway and Stow. The cat and dogs are very friendly and it’s fun to watch the chickens and sheep. There is a lovely shaded walk to a nice creek with a ford. In a word—idyllic.

We had a wonderful time at the Dairy Cottage this spring. The cottage and grounds are well kept and nearby beautiful walks and a town with cafe and shop for everything we needed. The hosts were welcoming and friendly I would recommend to anyone looking t@ get off the beaten path. We had a lovely stay. We would love to return.

Great property with perfect ambiance and charm in the Cotswolds. Hosts were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed feeling like we were in our own slice of the best the Cotswolds has to offer. Great restaurant, pubs, breakfast spots within walking or very short drive. Excellent hiking trails right out your door and simply a perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend as both a place to stay and relax and as a base to explore the area. Owners provide a very helpful guide with suggestions and information about the area and very friendly dogs who love your attention.

Directions were easy to follow and thorough, we found the cottage without issue and were able to let ourselves in. Inside, everything was spotless and there were some toys and resources for our kids (cot, high chair). Also, there was a binder full of local places to visits, paths to walk, maps, restaurants, etc. It was VERY useful!Sally-Anne was lovely once we met her and we had a great time chatting with her.

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage during the Christmas break. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The Christmas tree was a nice touch :) The location is spot on, quiet and peaceful but lots of walks on the doorstep to explore the countryside and visit local pubs / cafes. Our boys (age 8 & 6) enjoyed exploring the gardens and meeting some of the animals (particularly the free range chickens and Goose the black lab).Sally-Anne was a great host and we would thoroughly recommend a stay here!

Our stay at Sally-Anne's cottage was truly wonderful, we enjoyed every bit of it. The cottage offers a lovely apartment with two comfy bedrooms and a spacious living room/dining area. The bedroom where our children slept is small but very cozy. We all enjoyed the very friendly chats with Sally-Anne and her husband and the kids were thrilled about the occasional encounters with their dogs in the beautiful gardens. The cottage is located perfectly if you want to explore the Cotswolds or other destinations like Oxford or Warwick Castle. We'll definitely be back.
