We stayed in the 3 bedroom Stable 1 which was perfect for my family. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was provided. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Grandkids had a blast on the trampoline and the grounds to run around in and we enjoyed a cocktail on the back porch. Beautiful property.

We were comfortable and cozy in this lovely house. Great location on a quiet country road with very good access to Dublin and the charming town of Trim.

Our experience was wonderful! Upon arrival, we were greeted by Paula who had our prearranged and prepaid delicious dinners and desserts ready for us. Also, we were provided with a free welcome basket stocked with fresh eggs, bread, butter, chips, hot cocoa, and other treats. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, milk, pots and pans and whatever else we needed. The entire apartment was very clean and very comfortable. I would happily stay there again!

The Stables at Country Decoy Cottages was a delightful place for my parents, sister & bil, and me to spend a week. Paula was great & saw that our needs were sufficiently met (including getting allergy-free linens). We loved seeing the llamas & Scoot, the cat. We only wish we had more time!

Everything was as expected. Clean. Comfortable. Peaceful. Easy. Accessible to sites. All amenities. Very friendly management.

Great place to stay! Amazing views and not far from all of the northern attractions. Ancient ruins and beautiful castles. The accommodations were very clean and have everything you need.

We felt right at home in our cottage. What a wonderful way to experience the Irish countryside, with sheep, chickens, geese, and friendly cats and dogs to visit, a lovely community den with a pool table and more, even a treehouse and extended kids' play area. Paula was so helpful, whether we wanted sightseeing advice, more turf for the fire or more fresh eggs from the chickens. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen had all we needed to cook meals, and there's even a DVD library for movie time. Just a very short drive to the amazing historic sites of Newgrange and the Hill of Tara, and about 45 minutes to Dublin. It was almost TOO nice here...we had to drag our kids away on adventures, they just kept calling the cottage home. My mother-in-law walks with a cane and was so grateful for ground floor entry and one flight of stairs to bedrooms. This would be an ideal spot for family reunions or multiple-family holidays. We hope to return someday.

This is a unique location that was renovated from a former horse stable. It is a Top Shelf quality renovation with quality throughout and spacious comfortable living quarters. The property is secured by a gated entry and is beautifully landscaped. All the amenities of comfortable living are here. It is close to many historical sites including castles and ancient cultural locations. We enjoyed the welcome basket that included local milk, eggs, bread and condiments. Owner Paula and her property manager Georgina tended to all of our needs while we were there. It is a place that will create a lasting memory.
