We had a wonderful time. We have stayed in many rentals over the years and this is one of the best. The house is perfectly stocked with everything you need. We were there for a fishing trip and the only thing that would have made the trip better was if we had caught more fish! However, it was wonderful to come back to such a comfortable house at the end of the day. Everything was exactly as pictured and the hosts were very quick to respond to questions and issues.

Everything was great. Beautifully decorated. It was so clean. Amazing views. We plan to come back!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this property. My husband and I stayed with our four children and one of their friends for our annual weekend boating trip to Dale Hollow lake. The property was very clean. It even had the “new house” smell. The property is down a gravel road which was about the only negative but it is the last house on the road so that meant extra privacy. You have a beautiful lake view and see Sulfur Creek Marina from the porch. The kitchen was open and easy to move around even with multiple people in that area. We spent most of our time on the lake but still enjoyed relaxing evenings at this house.

Great location to Dale Hollow Lake state dock. Had everything we needed and was very clean. Hope to be back again!

We have stayed in several rentals near Dale Hollow lake before, and this was by far our favorite. The house was exactly like the photos, extremely clean, and amazingly well stocked. Wonderful porch with views of the lake where we sat and read with coffee every morning. It was even stocked with games and puzzles for rainy days and evenings, which we took full advantage of. We were able to put our boat in just 10 minutes away at the state park marina. Only thing that would make this better would be if it came with a slip. We hope to stay here again!

Our family loved our stay at The Porch on Dale Hollow Lake! The home had all the comforts of home—washer and dryer, cozy bedding and towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. The views overlooking Sulphur Creek were absolutely stunning. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway!

This property was everything they said it would be. Very clean, comfortable beds, and had easy access when we checked in. We would HIGHLY recommend this property.It was very close to the golf course, which was a beautiful course and challenging for all players .Thanks again, we had a blast !!!

Our family enjoyed our stay over spring break. This home was extremely clean and the owners did a great job of communicating and offering suggestions on restaurants and things to do in the area. It doesn’t get more peaceful than this! The only reason for 4 stars is because the fireplace and the gas grill wasn’t working.

This house had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation at the lake. The important things for us on vacation is sleeping comfortably, a great view and the location close to the state park. We loved the back porch overlooking part of the lake and hills. The beds were very comfortable especially the king in the master. Great place to stay!

This little house is quite the gem. It’s beautiful inside. Seating is comfortable. They supply all plates, utensils, silverware, and cookware. There is even an odds and ends drawer with batteries, sewing kit, flashlights, etc. The fridge is huge and they have cabinets for days. The bed was so comfortable. Plenty of hot water quickly. The place it very close to Sulphur and State Park Marinas. However, state is a closer drive otherwise the trek to Sulphur takes you on quite the journey. We have a full size truck with 22’ jet boat and not only was there plenty of parking there is a very large turn around. We have never been down here in our 30+ years of coming and not stayed in a houseboat so this was a first. Really enjoyed the experience. Thanks again :)

We loved our long weekend at The Porch. This home is a new build, impeccably cleaned, well-stocked, thoughtfully laid out, and easy for 2 families (which we had) to spread out. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. The amenities were all there, no need to bring anything other than your food and drinks (quite a few basic spices were provided). We loved the location, quiet (except for boat traffic, which we love), peaceful and off the beaten path (just enough) and close to the State Park Marina, where we have our boat. Best part was the view from the porch, one small view overlooking the lake directly west, and one just north to Sulphur Creek/Mike's Landing. The sunsets were amazing. Communication with the host contact was very timely, friendly and helpful. We have already booked another long weekend! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
