This is a great spot for relaxation and peace. Great location and very pet friendly. Loved the big fenced yard for our girls and the stream is so relaxing. Host are great and friendly. You cannot go with this rental.

This cabin was in a great location. We spent most of our time in the screened in porch listen to the creek and enjoying the quiet and fresh air. Super pet friendly too.

We enjoyed our stay at Firefly Cottage with our furbabies and teenage boys. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot right next to the creek. We are thankful for the fenced in yard to allow our dogs to run free. The house is conveniently located to Blue Ridge. We hope to escape there again soon.

Wonderful relaxing stay. We loved the cottage, it is beautiful and cozy . We enjoyed the fire pit, the screened in poarch and the creek just a few steps away from the poarch. Everything labeled and easy to find. Thank you for a great stay.

A special and charming cottage in a special and charming creek side locale. I rolled the dice and knew going in that there were entry stairs required and unfortunately they were more of a challenge than I had hoped to handicapped me so be aware if you have stair issues. Once inside no challenge at all, everything is on one easy level with cozy, thoughtful, comfortable, welcoming amenities. The hosts thought of everything and are very kind, accessible and attentive. A really, really nice, just-right spot!

This lovely cottage had absolutely everything! Our dogs loved the doggie bowls and treats - not to mention the almost 1/2 acre of fenced yard for them to run in!! We will be back in the spring to enjoy the beautiful creek and lot! Thank you, Melanie!!

The cottage is right on the creek and you can enjoy sitting on the screened in porch listening to the creek! The surroundings are so peaceful and quite! This cottage has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The host is very responsive to anything you may need. We look forward to our next visit!

Stayed here over Christmas. Beautiful house and property. House was immaculate and decorated for Christmas. The large fenced area was very well lit and perfect for our dogs.Creek just steps away from with easy access for fishing. Screened in porch was a perfect place to relax and listen to the water between casts. Nice fire pit also right next to the creek.Host’s communication was fantastic. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to unwind with room to breathe and easy access to anything in the area!

This house was perfect for a getaway that we desperately needed. I don’t think there was a thing we would have needed that was not supplied. It is definitely pet friendly, up to and including leashes, bowls, and a huge bed and with a gigantic yard for running around. We would definitely love to come back in the spring or summer, to put our feet in the creek. The hostess is great and very friendly, and I wish she would come decorate my house as she has decorated this house, because it is truly great!

Firefly cottage was wonderful. Best pet friendly vacation home that we have ever stayed at. The locatuon was so convenient to Blueridge, Merciers Orchards, and surrounding area. Melanie and Ritchie were just wonderful. We will be back for sure.

This is our third day at firefly cabin and everything was excellent and enjoyable as always when returning to the Blue Ridge area we plan to stay there on our next trip to Blue Ridge area. The owners are very gracious and concerned for your comfort. Look forward to visiting again.

This was the perfect weekend getaway rental for us. It was very easy to find and the roads getting there were not treacherous. We could hear the creek as soon as we got out of our car. It was very relaxing - especially by the fire pit at night. (Firewood was provided on site - big plus!!) We loved the place so much, the first day there, I booked it again for this fall. The house was very clean and comfortable. The screened in porch was amazing. So many details with solar candle lights, string lights, etc. that created a very cozy ambient feel. This place is a top favorite of ours and we look forward to returning many times!

This property is so cozy. Screened in porch was so nice to sit and enjoy the creek and for snuggling up with fur babies. Very pet friendly home with towels and blankets for them and even a dog bed. Fenced in yard was amazing to let them play. Inside was very cozy and had everything available you would need. Very organized with information about where to find things you might need. One suggestion would be to replace rug at kitchen sink since it is very worn. Other than that everything else was so nice and comfy. Always love having washer and dryer. We loved playing in the creek with the dogs also and there are steps to take you down to the creek. About fifteen minutes from downtown Blue Ridge.One thing to note for others is that it is not totally secluded if that’s what you’re looking for. Was not an issue since it was very quiet the whole time but there are neighbors on each side if you’re looking for something very secluded completely away from everyone. Located in quiet area convenient to almost everything.

This is our 3rd stay at Firefly Cottage. The location is perfect. Quiet, on a creek and not high in the mountains. It is a quick drive to Blue Ridge and Ellijay. The huge fenced backyard is great for our dogs. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch relaxing and listening to the creek. This weekend was exactly what we needed. We will be back again.

Great property - PEACEFUL! Warm, VERY pet friendly (great place for dog to run around). Nice kitchen and beautiful quiet bedrooms. I will stay again next time I take the Oyster fly rod class!

We went for several days to relax and unwind. The sounds of the creek and the back porch were perfect. We sat around the fire pit one night and our dog loved the wide open spaces and the huge fenced area. The cottage is so cozy and is has all you need for a fun time in the mountains.

We have stayed at Fire Fly Cottage on a previous trip and enjoyed it so much we decided to stay again 8 months later. It's so relaxing and very convenient to downtown without being downtown. The owner is quick to respond and very friend. The cleanliness is excellent, view is excellent. We probably be return visitors at least once a year!

We really enjoyed our stay here, lovely cabin in a great location and very pet friendly, the fenced in area is a big plus also. The cabin itself was really nice and well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The firepit and the creek were also a big plus and a great place for a spot of fishing.The only thing that could have made this perfect would have been a white christmas but you cant have everything !I have to add that we had great communication from the owners also.

It was relaxing to hear the sound of the creek running over the rocks.We enjoyed our stay and made a day trip to Gatlinburg and visited the drive In theater in Blue Ridge.

We relaxed, had a barbecue, roasted marshmallows, and took in the sights and sounds of nature. It was such a peaceful environment, fully immersed in nature. Our pet had a blast in the huge fenced yard; he was the happiest one there! Even our teen mentioned feeling calm after the trip. We really enjoyed ourselves and loved how easy it was to have a barbecue.

We loved this cottage! Perfectly is as described and offers everything one would need for a relaxing getaway. The fenced in dog area is a dream for dofs and owners alike. Definitely coming again.

I loved Firefly Cottage. The location was excellent for everywhere we wanted to go. Cottage was exceptionally clean and had all the essentials plus more. Melanie was a wonderful hostess!!!!

I discovered this cabin 4 months earlier when walking my dogs during our stay at another (unaffiliated) one a few doors down, and fell in love with just the outside. After finding the cottage online and communicating with Melanie, we were already beyond thrilled. She was so sweet and accommodating, and everything about the cabin exceeded our expectations. The cabin itself is very cozy and has everything you would need for your stay. There are so many personal touches, and even simple things like labled power switches, were very appreciated. We enjoyed the evenings in the screened-in porch, just listening to the river. Also, Melanie brings pet-friendly to a whole new level. Besides the fully fenced in 3rd acre, covers are provided should your dogs go on the couch or bed. She also had bowls,leashes, and treats. This was by far the best time my boys had at a cabin! I'm so happy we discoved this gem, and the only thing bad was having to leave. Thank you, Melanie, for allowing our stay with our dogs, and we now have a favorite place to stay in the GA mountains.

The whole experience was too notch this is our 2 time. Will definitely stay again our dog ghost loved it.
