Creek side cottage with awesome porch and fire pit

We thought this would be a great place to stay during our visit in PA. This property exceeded our expectations. When we had questions, the owner was very responsive to us.

House was very homey and quiet

We loved it here! The porch and seating near the creek were our favorite parts! It was cozy and felt like home! It is close to the main road where you can get food and groceries but also secluded and feels like you are away from all the hustle and bustle! The wild life was a bonus! We sat and watched blue Herons and cranes in the creek! We definitely recommend this spot and will be back!

The cottage worked well for us for a one-night stay to visit family in Camp Hill. It was clean and spacious. The backyard was very nice and we would like to have stayed longer in order to enjoy sitting by the creek and to use the nice fire pit. We would definitely stay here again.

The host was good at communicating. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The kitchen seemed to have everything you could need to cook any meal. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows.

Creek side peace and space to be a family! Our host was delightful and hospitable and the home was perfect for our college age kids to meet us from Messiah (16 minute drive). Our 11 year old loved the large yard and fishing! I hope to be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! It was perfect for us and our pups and we enjoyed all of the amenities provided. We will be back!

A great place for us to stay while going to a basketball tournament at Messiah University. The kitchen was well stocked for meal making. The house was very comfortable.My only reservation for anyone with mobility issues were the stairs at the entrance, rather steep and narrow. Also, the house is on a busy street and is bordered by the creek and so if you bring kids you will need to be watchful.

Lovely space on the creek. Central area to visit with our son’s and daughter’s family. Close to shops when we needed those last minute things for the rehearsal dinner and wedding

My adult sons and a neighborhood friend of theirs stayed with me here. We golfed at Armitage, only 5 minutes away. And also at Royal Manchester within 30 minutes. Enjoyed dining nearby at Pizza Boy, Dukes Riverside and the Watershed Pub. One of my sons caught a big bass in the creek behind the house. Perfect weekend.

The home was so cute, clean and conveniently located. It was well stocked and the owners thought of everything to make it a home away from home. The driveway was a little challenging but it was a great place. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay at this location. We found the property as listed. It was homey and welcoming. We found the owner to be very communicative and friendly. Would highly recommend.

In town for a funeral. Came from Chicago, Columbus & Pittsburgh. The cottage was perfect.

We exhibit in the GAOS trade show. This place was perfect to come back to, stretch out, and relax. We are foodies and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. A few more pots/pans/baking dishes would be nice but not necessary to cook. Then furniture was comfortable and well kept. The bedding was plush and very nice. Lots of room and a great experience. Lynne was responsive to all communication and even had someone to scrape and salt the drive after some snow fall. Top shelf all the way.

I've been to this property three times and it's always a pleasure stay, perfect scenery and very quiet.

I got the place for 3 older buddies to go enjoy Green Day at Hershey Stadium. They canceled but we still had fun with hiking, Hershey chocolate tours, car museum, nearby movies and a comedy club. The house was perfect for what we needed - we slept, showered, cooked breakfast and hung out on the porch in the late evening. Beds/pillows were very comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Overall great value for the price.

My family had the pleasure to stay at this quaint cottage on the creek in Hamden County. The house was immaculate and included 2 coffee makers and Kureig coffee pods to boot! The bedrooms were comfortable with all linens included. There was a washer and dryer which we did not need to use for our visit. The appliances were modern and up to date. The cottage is pet friendly with throws to cover the furniture. There was pet bowls, shampoo, and even a pooper scooper. The creek was about 100-150ft from the cottage. My grandson was endlessly entertained by the crawfish he would catch. The creek was a bit low during our visit so fishing was not very good. We were able to walk out to the center and the water was over the knee. We had a relaxing time. A small dead tree fell onto the property and the owner was there by dinner time to cut it into firewood. Lynne was very nice and couldn’t be more accommodating. Look forward to coming back in the near future

Very nice well equiped cabin style house with excellent access to the conaguena creek, close to everything near Mechanicsburg. Nice fire pit with Adirondack chairs. We liked the lounge chairs overlooking the creek.

Great centrally located property with lots to do in the area.

Stayed at the property over night after a concert at hershey stadium. Place was clean and comfortable. Screened in porch went well with a cup of coffee. No complaints.

Gorgeous little slice of property on the creek. Perfect spot for relaxing in the am with coffee or wine in the pm. Saw deer, ground hogs, egrets and blue herons. Will be back. Very clean and well equipped house.
