We had a phenomenal stay. Conveniently located for walking to the beach/ dinner/ market. The place was clean and cozy, with the best windows to wake up to the morning sun.

We had a wonderful stay at Cole Cottage! The cottage is perfect for a couple. Location to beach, outdoor seating, and the host were our highlights. Gus is responsive and just upstairs if you need help. He greeted us at check in and made sure we had all we needed. Our only “downside” was the kitchen size. It was manageable, but as a couple who cooks on vacation it was tricky. If you are a couple who prefers to eat out on vacation this is the perfect spot!

Gus is a gracious host with a wealth of knowledge about the area. Location was perfect, just a block away from the ocean and a few blocks away from the pier and downtown area. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the cutest cottage! I chose Tybee Island to surprise my husband with for our 1st anniversary. This is my first booking and stay with VRBO and I am beyond impressed with how easy the process was. Now about this cottage! The towels were supremely thick and soft, perfect! The kitchen had all the essentials needed. The hot water was superb! It was so quiet! I cannot speak on how peaceful and quiet our stay was! We don’t know the cute kitty’s name but we became quick friends! He was a precious little touch! I will absolutely stay again!! Thank you so much for helping us make this a wonderful first anniversary!

The property was clean, colorful, and convenient! Gus was a great source of local recommendations for places to visit and eat. We loved the furry friends that liked to hang around the yard and greet us whenever we were walking back from the beach. Can’t imagine a better place to stay for a weekend jaunt to the beach!

The rental was exactly as described. The location was great. A block from the beach, grocery was around the corner and several restaurants within walking distance. Gus is a great host. This was our 2nd visit, and it won't be our last.

My teenage daughter and I had a wonderful stay here! As others have mentioned, the location is perfect--very walkable to the beach and restaurants/shopping. The local grocery store is on the same block. The cottage was perfect and exactly what we wanted for our stay. Thank you for hosting us!

Gus is an exceptional host-had everything we could want or need. Location is within a few short blocks of the DT area with wonderful restaurants, shops & the beach access to watch the sunrise is a short walk. The people are so nice & welcoming. Whimsical cottage, well designed, not your typical motel bedroom, 3 min from the beach

This was the perfect location for getting to the beach, which is what I wanted! Gus' property was a 5 minute walk on the East side of the island - the sunrises were spectacular!! Back at the place it was quiet and the smell of jasmine with the warm breeze while sitting on the patio and reading a book was heavenly. Just the solitude I wanted. Gus was wonderful to talk with as well. A very nice experience overall!

Everything about our stay was fantastic. Quaint, clean, comfortable cottage full of all the necessary amenities.

The property was super cute and even though it's under the main house, it felt very private. The property was within walking distance of great restaurants and nightlife. We would definitely return. and nightlife.

The cottage was very relaxing and had everything we needed for our stay. Laundry usage was a big plus. My wife and I hope to stay here again someday.

Our first night we took a short bike ride to the Back River Beach along the bike trail and watched the sunset. We were close to the beach and grocery right around the corner. Gus was very helpful with questions we had and answered quickly. We really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cole Cottage Too… Gus was a great host from start to finish… Mother Nature was not the kindest but we enjoyed exploring the restaurants and shops of Tybee. My husband made some cool Island Art and I enjoyed taking time out to read… also happy the Catholic Church was within walking distance as we were there at the beginning of Lent … some much appreciated R&R and no snow… thank you Gus

The property was the perfect size for my husband and myself. It is located in a pleasant neighborhood just a block from the beach. The house was bright and cheerfully decorated, and communication with the host was excellent. Lemon and Loper, the orange cats, were sweet felines. We would highly recommend this cozy little place!

Place had everything we needed for the 2 of us..I was skeptical because the owners lived upstairs but it was very private and they never bothered us, and they were very responsive to texts

A quiet little place it is small and a bit outdated but I believe it added to the aesthetic of it the bed and couch was not as clean as I would be comfortable with hair on the couch and the bed on the White linens there was some discoloration so I was lucky and brought some spare bedding stuff and slept on top of sheets and was perfectly comfortable but honestly I liked the place and I spoke to the owner and he was amazing and kind and for the price I paid look I was not expecting the ritz Carlton so two gripes is not big deal in my book

Everything was wonderful. Gus, our host encouraged us to call him anytime if we had any questions. I encourage you to check out AJ’s restaurant and make your reservation so you will be there during sunset. It was breathtaking.

Quiet and comfortable, short distance to the beach, also the part it’s closer to was less crowded than near the pier so that was nice. Gus was absolutely fantastic! I had some issues with VRBO before leaving and he called to reassure me and my partner that we were squared away for our trip. Then upon arrival he was an incredibly gracious host in offering us suggestions on places to eat and things to check out as well on the island. Gus even has a stray cat, Lemon Drop, that would greet us every day, which was a delight for my partner. We definitely have talked about coming back and would love to rent the space if it is available to us again!!
