Cozy Waterfront Cottage in Grand Beach Manitoba

Great location! Overall nice cabin

We arrived on Sunday with the intent to leave on Wednesday morning for a working vacation. The internet was so bad that we were unable to stay in touch with family and work. The internet was erratic meaning it was intermittently very slow and non-existent. We left before check-out on Tuesday morning. I contacted the property manager (owner) to let them know that we had checked out due to the problems with the internet which meant I couldn't work. The listing should not list WIFI unless it has a rider stating that it intermittently. There was not offer of a rebate for the night that we didn't stay.

It went very well. I would like to have had the passcode for the door key much sooner in advance. We would not have been able to get in if I had not gone to my cousins cottage and used his wifi. We would have to have found other accommodations. I begged for the code before we left home (500 km drive ) I will never rent again without the code well in advance.

We had a wonderful stay for 3 nights, 3 adults and a 1 yr. old. No facilities for a young child which was expected, but we came prepared with a playpen/bed which we were able to slide into one of the rooms. Older Cabin, can use a bit of TLC but is at the end of an avenue so very quiet and view of lake from the cabin is great, with wonderful sunsets seen from the front deck. Short walk to beach area and playground for kids. Had a kitchen sink plumbing problem, which was a bit of kink to the day, but things like this do happen unexpectedly. Steve got back to us quickly and was able to get someone there the next day which was a Sunday on a long weekend so weekend saved! Thanks Steve!

Very nice rental property. Sitting on the front porch with my coffee looking out at the lake was just the recharge I was in need of. The cute cabin had everything we needed. I hope to be back next summer!
