Cozy Solar Cottage on the West Side

Wonderful place and a very sweet host!

Maybe small but has everything you need and more. Super clean. Definitely stay again.

We loved our stay! The cottage is quiet, comfortable and appointed with everything you need for a great stay. The bed is comfy and the shower is hot!! It’s close to the downtown area with lots of nice shops and restaurants. The owner who lives in the front house is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Don’t hesitate to stay here you won’t be disappointed!

This was my second time staying at Sigrid’s place. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Sparkling clean space (like for real! I’m picky about cleanliness and it was immaculate!) Convenient location and she goes above and beyond to make sure all the necessary amenities are available. The space is beautiful and the bed is like sleeping on a cloud! Comfy pillows too! I was traveling with my sister and we felt very safe and comfortable. Motion lights outside by the vehicle were great! Check in process was easy and she has a wealth of information available in the cottage with area things to do. I will 100% be booking again next time I’m in Colorado Springs!

Everything was excellent from the location and its proximity to so many Colorado Springs attractions, to the attention to detail and cleanliness of the property. The cottage had everything I needed for a restful mini vay-cay. The bed was super comfortable. I stayed for a few nights while visiting family in the Springs and it was nice to have a place to call my own while I was there. The communication with the host was perfect and check-in and out was easy. I wouldn't change a thing about Sigrid's cottage.

Overall amazing experience, great location, fit two people perfectly. The Host is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The house has plenty of information about hiking and food. Amazing experience overall, I hope to come back to this exact listing

Loved the vibe - Sigrid prioritizes environmental stewardship and has an earthy decor highlighting Colorado nature. We value VRBOs with non- corporate hosts and enjoyed meeting her. Very accommodating to our 1/2 hour early arrival too, which does not exist for more commercial places. We will likely be back to this one!

Sigrid’s property is just as advertised. It’s a lovely detached building behind her house, with private parking and access. The cottage is cozy and quiet and it’s equipped with everything I needed. It’s close to good restaurants. Sigurd is a lovely host!

The cottage was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. Sigrid was great. She was concerned about our comfort and was always available if we had any questions. She had lists of good restaurants and other activities. It was a great choice for us.

A very cozy cottage that had everything we needed and more. Sigrid is an excellent host and made us feel welcome. Her gardens are beautiful as well and such a nice place to sit out andhave your morning coffee! Prime location to easily get to various tourist destinations. Definitely recommend!

This place is a hidden gem. The garden area and patio is amazing, beautiful and lots of things to explore. The cottage is very cozy, great location, very homey feeling and had everything little we needed and then some. The host thinks of everything and is very kind! The little notes Sigrid left around are extremely helpful! I felt very safe and secure staying there with my child. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit the springs!

Great place! It is comfortable and very clean. The host has very thoughtfully made it very accessible with helpful notes placed throughout. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is great! A short drive to 7 falls, garden of the gods, and old colorado city. The hoat communicates very well. The cottage is easy to find. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Sigrid is a very welcome addition to her beautiful, cozy, and comfy cottage! What a delight this place is! She even brought me some homemade banana bread! What a wonderful place of respite! I will definitely be returning to this 'tuck away' treasure!

The cottage was lovely. Very private, and the neighborhood was extremely quiet. Lots of natural light. The host has posted friendly notes throughout the space that are actually helpful, from labels on the light switches to tips on using the coffee maker to hints on how to best adjust the shower temperature. I was very comfortable and really enjoyed my stay.And I absolutely ADORED the cats on the fence boards!

The place was easy to find. The hello kitty fence pickets were cute! My visit was short but I would definitely stay here again! The host was really helpful and communicated promptly! Loved my visit here!

The cottage is great, perfect for an extended stay or a long weekend. So much to do all within 30 minutes or less of the cottage location.

We absolutely loved our visit! The cottage had everything we needed and a few things we didn’t know we needed. Everything was clean, organized, and exceptionally well labeled. There were reading materials we were able to use as we planned out excursions. It was our first time staying in the area so it was nice having easy parking and a central location. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. We especially loved exploring the Cheyanne Canyon. I would definitely recommend this cute little cottage to anyone!
