A cozy A-frame retreat in Camlachie, Ontario, nestled by the river and just a short walk to Lake Huron’s sandy beaches and stunning sunsets.

Enjoy mornings on the deck, reading by the river, kayaking or paddleboarding from the backyard, and relaxing in peaceful seating areas.

The charming bunkie by the river offers a quiet extra space-perfect for guests, teens, or a private escape ✨

Registered Guests Only
All guests must be registered at the time of booking.
A fee of $40 applies for each unregistered guest.

Please Leave the Cottage Tidy:

Please leave the cottage as you found it-clean and tidy. 
We do not charge a cleaning fee, so we truly appreciate your help keeping the space neat and cared for during your stay

⏰ Late Check-Out
Late check-out may be available with prior approval.
Fee: $50 per half hour.

*Pets are welcome with prior approval and an additional fee. Please keep your pet on a leash, clean up after them, and please don’t leave them unattended.

‼️ No Parties or Large Gatherings
This is a peaceful family cottage, so please no parties or large events.

Firewood
You’re welcome to enjoy the firewood during your stay. We kindly ask that you please leave some for future guests to enjoy as well. For everyone’s safety, please ensure the fire is completely extinguished when finished.

Quiet Hours
Our neighbors live here year-round, so we kindly ask that you help us keep the area peaceful and enjoyable for everyone
Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. During this time, please keep noise levels low and move any outdoor gatherings inside.

Backyard String Lights
Please turn off when not in use out of respect for our neighbors.

☂️ Patio Umbrellas
When not in use, please tie down patio umbrellas to prevent wind damage.

Water Fun
Enjoy the kayaks and stand-up paddleboards!
Please return all life jackets and equipment to their original spots after use.

❗️ Loft Door Important Info. 
The loft door on the 2nd level of the main cottage can be a little tricky to lock.
**Please watch the video guide linked in the welcome message or posted in the cottage. Properly closing the loft door helps prevent flooding.

Fresh Air Welcome
The loft door includes a screen, so feel free to enjoy the breeze while keeping bugs out.

Steep Steps
Please use caution — the cottage has steep stairs around the property and a unique A-frame layout.

Poison Ivy Warning
Please be careful near the riverbank and garden areas, as poison ivy may be present.

Septic System Care
Only toilet paper may be flushed.
Please do not flush feminine hygiene products or any other items.

️ Beach Courtesy
Some nearby beach areas are private. Please avoid placing chairs directly in front of neighboring cottages, especially those marked with private signs. Enjoy the shoreline respectfully

️ Garbage Day - Every Mondays
Garbage pickup is Monday mornings. 
Please place recycling/garbage bins in the driveway beside the grey shed near the big tree by 10am on Monday morning.
