This is the one and only guest cottage on our property, which we adore but are rarely able to visit. As such, it gives you access to a very private dock, a comfortably furnished screened gazebo, three kayaks, a lakeside fire pit, a smart TV and other toys we're happy to share.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025We loved the gazebo!! We were a little disappointed that the lake wasn’t good for swimming and floating…too many weeds and muck, but the chairs on the dock and the view was wonderful. Kitchen utensils could be better. We did enjoy our stay! Very peaceful and cozy!!

Stayed May 21, 2025This place is AMAZING!! As advertised and more!!! The cabin itself is cozy, comfy and clean with all the amenities two people and their crazy Corgi could need. Pics of the lake view thru the trees don’t do it justice. The fire pit near the lake was a great place to cook a steak dinner and s’mores while watching the eagles fish and the sunset. The supplied fire wood, kayaks, yard games, zero gravity chairs and tables was gracious and so appreciated. The dock is a perfect spot to park a boat. As if paid actors, the loons were at the dock to great us when we arrived and came back on our last night to say goodbye. A truly magical spot to relax and decompress. We WILL be back!

Stayed Sep 21, 2024This simple cottage was perfect for my needs of a little getaway. The kitchen had all I needed, the bed and pillows were comfy, and the lake was lovely. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack chairs at the end of the dock.

Stayed Sep 27, 2024Cabin was perfect for the two of us. Was clean ans stocked nicely. Was super quiet and peaceful. Almost too quiet at night. Beautiful lake view, sat at the pier every morning and night. Fishing off the pier was great! Would stay again. Caught a fish on EVERY cast!

Stayed Sep 16, 2024This was a perfect little cottage/guest house on the lake. Excellent communication with owner and staff with our questions. Close to town, in a quiet, neighborhood. We brought our fishing boat and was able to use the private dock. Definitely would stay again!

Stayed Jul 26, 2024The property was wonderful. The weather was spectacular. We were looking for a quiet place to decompress with our two dogs, and we found it! It was such a peaceful week. The owner was incredibly responsive while we were planning. The Loon’s Nest had everything we needed and there was plenty of room. The absolute best part was the screened-in gazebo. Comfortable furniture, ample room and bug free! Book this place now for next summer!
