Stayed Jul 30, 2025Quiet area close to the beach. Perfect for families with small children. On the bay so waves are not as big, perfect for the kids wanting to be in the water. House was clean with everything needed to make quick meals . Friendly neighbors

Stayed Jul 9, 2025We had a great time at the cozy little blue cottage by the bay. The cottage was the perfect size for the three of us. My husband and I slept in the bedroom while our adult son slept on the couch. The kitchen is well stocked with the basics. There were 2 beach chairs and some umbrellas for the beach which is a quick walk from the cottage. The town is 20 minutes away with all your needs. And it's just 30 minutes to the Delaware Beaches with the touristy areas. If you are looking for some place to relax off the beaten path, this is the place. Very quiet. Just make sure to bring big spray as there are mosquitoes because of the marsh lands.

Stayed Jul 14, 2024We were in the area for a lacrosse tournament and decide to spend a few days at the beach. This cottage was everything we needed for our trip. Alex was always there to answer our questions and give suggestions of things to do in the area. If you want a nice quiet vacation this is your place.

Stayed Jun 24, 2024We stayed 3 nights in the cottage. It is a very cute little place in a very quiet neighborhood. The neighbors that we saw were all very friendly. It wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it to be. There was hair in the shower before we even used it, cookie pieces in the couch and the backyard was not mowed and it was a jungle. We couldn’t use the yard at all because of it. We are outdoorsy people so this was very disappointing for us. The A/C in the bedroom was horrible too. It ran for the entire time we were there and was hot in there when we left. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. The futon was so hard and any of us who slept there (very little) had a sore back in the morning. Also, I couldn’t find the remote for the bedroom TV. My kids enjoyed Slaughter Beach. We always parked at the firehall at the pavilion. It has a public restroom and a place to wash the sand off of you before getting in your car. The horseshoe crabs were neat to look at, but stunk and attracted so many flies that bit you and that in itself made the beach miserable for my husband and I.

Stayed Jun 19, 2024We stayed here for a lacrosse tournament that was in Frederica. Place was just as advertised. The main bedroom can get a little warm it was a hot one. I misread about the washer and dryer. It would have been nice but understand I guess. They also left a nice not and a cool coffee mug.
