This lake house is amazing. Spacious and comfortable with everything needed for a get away. I especially loved the back patio with a table and chairs to view the lake. She provides kayaks and other watercraft that she allows you to use for free. It was truly a wonderful weekend!
We loved this property. My kids learned to kayak while there. We had a wonderful time. The owner was very nice and communicated very well.
Very cozy and clean. Beautiful, overlooking the lake...
Overall our stay was very good. Having access to the paddle boat and kayaks was enjoyed and we had a little camp fire by the water in the evening. We had fun playing some trivia with Alexa and the well stocked selection of games in the cottage. My only real complaint is that this cottage should not be advertised as 3 bedrooms, it’s one bedroom with two full size beds, a loft space which is great for kids but not fully enclosed, and a day bed in the living room area. It was a little tight for us. Great location although based on the description I thought we would be a little closer to pictured rocks. It was about 28 minutes to miners castle.
Great location close to Munising and Pictured Rocks. Being able to use the provided kayaks was a pleasure since this property is on a quiet lake in a forested area. Property was very clean and well maintained and communication with the owner was very easy via texting.
We had a great stay at this cabin. Excellent view of the lake. Kids used the paddle boat. Quiet area out of town. Great time in the Munising area.
Place is exactly as advertised and it was the perfect get away. Great communication with the host, clean, and the location is idyllic. Exploring the lake on the canoe was our favorite part. My one minor complaint is that there were no actual canoe paddles, but the kayak paddles did just fine.
We loved this cottage. The kayaks on the lake were a great way to relax. Amie was very helpful, especially when we got lost getting to the cottage. It was a perfect spot to enjoy nature.
My family and I had a great time and really enjoyed this lake front getaway. There were many activities to keep my family entertained and we were very close to town and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore for other adventures.
Had a great time relaxing at the cabin with family, after spending 3 days in mackinaw city/island. Just a few mins away from Munising and pictured rock boat tour. It was exactly what we expected and wanted it to be. I do wish we could have used the pontoon boat they had docked their, but that was not in the description and we did not expect to be boating. So im not going to factor that into my review. Thank you Amie My family and I had a great time!
This is the sweetest little cabin in the most picturesque spot. Amie is a wonderful host and will make sure you enjoy your stay.
The cabin was so cute exactly what we were hoping for.
I want to go back this place I like it.
I can not give this place enough stars . If you like simple and peaceful this is it !! We had 7 people in our group and there was plenty of room . Sitting outside in the morning by the lake was so calming . The interaction with Aimee was outstanding . She is extremely helpful with any needs ! Would not hesitate to stay again ❤️❤️
Great place to stay not far from Lake Superior. Very clean and well maintained. Paddle boat, canoe, and kayak's to use where a nice addition. Even saw some loons eating breakfast during one of our early morning paddles.
What a cute little cabin on a nice, quiet lake! Amie went out of her way to make sure everything was good for us at the cabin. We appreciated her attention to details at the cabin, which was clean and decorated so cute. All of the furnishings are new, and the cabin itself was really cozy. We enjoyed the paddle boat, kayaks, fire pit, and the table and ample seating outside where we enjoyed our dinner lakeside. Thanks for letting us use your happy place these last few days!
The property was very quaint and perfect for what we were looking for. The house was very clean and the host had everything you could possibly need there for a great vacation.
The cabin was beautiful, very cozy and comfortable...I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone....The lake was beautiful and amazing...The Hosts were very nice and friendly and helpful for things to do in the area...
We had an amazing experience at Amie's place with our family. Our daughter and her partner were visiting from New Zealand and we wanted to show off our beautiful state and shoreline. Our sons were along with their mate/child so we had the house packed and were looking forward to a week of forced family fun. The cabin was clean, well supplied; the kayaks were a blast and it could not have been a cuter spot. Only complaint of the trip was the weather played havoc on our Superior boat trips! Highly recommend, just not the week I want it!
