Stayed Feb 20, 2026The host communicated well with any questions we had. The cottage's back yard with the stream was fabulous and a great point of interest. The cottage it's self was rustic but cute. It is in a well populated area with neighbors on both sides and a camp ground across the street. We were unable to stay for the length of time we booked as we could not stay comfortably. The bed was horrible. If either of us moved the other moved like a water bed. The bed would bump the wall each time we moved as it did not feel sturdy at all. A very sleepless night. Along with that the battle between the window units and space heaters was rough. Our weekend started out at 80 degress and then cooled significantly. We highly recommend a new bed and maybe more reliable heating and cooling. Since we felt we needed to leave due to basic comfort we gave 3 stars.

Stayed Jan 9, 2026Cute little cabin. It took me a minute to figure out how to work the heaters and even when covered, the hot tub cooled off when it got cold. They aksed for more cleaning than what I'm used to being asked to do, like washing the bedding, but it was nice that there was a w/d there.

Stayed Oct 11, 2025The creek was beautiful & the water was so clear. That was really the only thing that made us decide to stay. We will not be staying in this place again on our next trip. Photos are of the creek because the cabin was nothing special & our discovery on the 1st night is definitely not family friendly.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025We had a wonderful weekend away. Our dog loved the creek, we were able to unwind from our jobs and enjoy relaxing in the hot tub, and the cabin was so rustic and nice. We will definitely book again.

Stayed Apr 17, 2025The cute cabin was the perfect size for me and my husband. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything that we needed. The queen-sized bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies. In the bathroom, there is a heater/vent which was fabulous when showering on chilly evenings! The owner provided extra heaters which came in handy as the temps got into the 30's in the evenings. The main reason I rented this cabin was for the creek out back and it didn't disappoint. It was so very relaxing sitting out on the deck listening to the water run over the rocks. I wish I was still sitting there! The town of Candler is a great little city. If you like chicken, go to Rocky Hot Chicken Shack - the food is delicious! If you are a fan of Mexican food, try El Chalapa - excellent tacos. There are also a ton of fast food restaurants if that is your thing. The location of the cabin is perfect for visiting Asheville or the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are lots of waterfalls about 45 minutes away.I highly recommend this home and want to go back as soon as I can!

Stayed Dec 28, 2024We really enjoyed our trip. The cabin was perfect for us the hot tub was awesome to have on the cold nights and the creek was so awesome Everything was within a 20 minute drive. The pizza place at the end of the road was really good for a quick dinner.
