No WiFi, despite it being in the welcome email and welcome text. Vacasa local person response? Oh, we removed it from the listing. Vacasa unit are always a tossup, but this was a bit beyond.

Wonderful overall. Property was perfect for my family of 4 for a long weekend in and around Anacortes. Very walkable location. Kitchen, bath, beds, side yard were great.

A very deep cleaning of the bedroom window sills..had lots of mouse droppings and mouse hair..a health hazard. The toilet tank and bowl barely got cleaned. The counters and fridge were sticky and someone sprayed an entire can of air freshener to cover up what smell like smoke. Also the living room sofa is so bad..you sink down 6 inches..which gave us back aches. We sat on the dining chairs or the floor. The sofa cushions had lots of hair and crumbs..not cleaned. It appeared to us that the maid only does a minimal cleaning. This place needs a deep cleaning...including behind the washer and under the fridge. We spent our first two hours disinfecting counters, toilet, sinks, doorknobs..all were sticky. We left the house better than will found it.!

51 degrees inside on arrival. Internet shut down which is a bummer when there is no tv. Very odd in a town rental

Way over priced! For nearly 400 a night we could not have been more disappointed. The unit could have used a good cleaning. There was dust on baseboards, the toilet was dirty and bathroom sink clogged. The couch was dirty and broken in spots which made it uncomfortable. There is not a table instead a bar but the stools are too high so you can’t fit under the counter. It’s very awkward. One bedroom doesn’t have a screen so the window could not be opened which made it very hot and stuffy. The main living space doesn’t have AC and no doors have screens so the area was either bug filled or hot. No tv nor games, which no tv is fine but it should be clearly noted on the app and zero games. Not a comfortable stay by any means.

The place was clean and in a great location and the backyard was charming. It was rather dark inside and nothing special, however. It met our needs, but we probably would not return.

We had a lovely stay at this charming converted garage-turned-cottage in the heart of Anacortes. The space is thoughtfully designed and clean. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and the marina. We especially enjoyed the private patio area, which was perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evenings. The cottage is fairly priced for the area, and overall we found it to be a comfortable and cozy home base for exploring the region. That said, there were a few drawbacks worth noting. As mentioned in previous reviews, the Wi-Fi can be unreliable—strong in some areas of the unit, spotty in others, and sometimes nonexistent altogether. The signal appears to be coming from another building on the property, which made remote work a challenge at times (we had to take video calls outside near the source of the signal). The kitchen was functional but somewhat minimally stocked. While there were plenty of forks, there were very few spoons and only a single cutting board. Additionally, for a five-night stay, we were provided with only one extra roll of toilet paper, which wasn’t quite sufficient. Overall, this is a sweet little retreat with tons of charm and a great location—we’d consider staying again with a few minor adjustments. With improved Wi-Fi and a bit more attention to kitchen and bathroom supplies, this rental could easily be a 5-star experience.

Great property, close to downtown. Only recommendation is to align the checkout chores found in the house with those Vacasa sends. We consolidated and did them all.

This was our second stay at Cozy/Cultural Cottage and although the location is still super and we enjoyed visiting Anacortes, we were just a little disappointed that the main source of heat in the living spaces was not operational. The owner did suppy some space heaters but it just wasn’t the same.Overall, it is a lovely place in a great location…but it could use a little maintenance.space heaters.

Location is only a couple of blocks from Commercial St. and all the shops and restaurants. Stayed over the weekend so got to experience the great farmer's market that is only a block away. Cottage was comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor space as well.
