Cozy Cottage near Lake & Skiing, Hot Tub, fireplace & Fire-pit, Pets Allowed

This was our second time at the cottage - we came back because it’s a perfect winter getaway. Close to ski and snowboarding, downtown Petoskey, shops and restaurants yet with a very cozy and private feel. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and everything is thought of to make the stay comfortable. Highly recommend!

This Walloon Lake cottage is in a great location, close to Boyne Mountain and Petoskey. We enjoyed the hot tub and the large fenced yard for our dog. We had everything we needed for our stay and we really appreciated the extra touches such as the smore making ingredients and hot chocolate. We would definitely stay at the cottage again.

Excellent location, close to Boyne and Petoskey. Cozy house that felt larger than the pictures represented. Extras provided including beach towels, s’more supplies, hair dryer, robes and spice cupboard. Felt like home away from home

The cottage was very quaint. Loved how close it was to the downtown area, short walk. We brought our 2 small dogs. The backyard was great for them. Enjoyed a small fire one evening. Thanks for the firewood. Had a great time! Thank you!

House was in a great area, just a few minute walk to the lake. Very cozy and clean house. Nice to be able to relax around the campfire or in the hot tub at the end of the day. Host was very accommodating and the communication was great.

The cottage was absolutely great. We traveled with our two dogs and the fenced in yard gave us peace of mind. The cottage has everything that you could think of - kayaks, hot tub, fire pit. We had a wonderful stay and Adam and Larissa were incredible hosts.

The cottage was absolutely perfect. Everything you could want or need seemed to be at your fingertips! The cottage is just a very short walk to the village and public beach. The bunkhouse was perfect for our three daughters to hang out! The owners have thought of everything!!!

This was the most charming cottage and a PERFECT location in Walloon Lake. We traveled with our 2 year old daughter and our dog and appreciated the fenced in yard and safe (though still very close) distance to the water for that reason. We were able to relax and dine outside as a family with peace of mind while they explored the yard, and the hosts thought of everything to make the atmosphere comfortable and fun. Beautiful beach, nice playground and coffee/restaurants all moments’ walk away, plus it was a short drive to Petoskey and Harbor Springs. 10/10 we had such a wonderful time.

we used the cottage to handle some family “overflow” at our lake house on Walloon. Location was great as it was close to the main house and offered a great opportunity to walk into the village for dinner at Watershed, BarrelBack, and to hit the General Store

Absolutely fantastic hosts and property! Everything was thought of and considered. Beautiful cozy cottage on a private lot in a quiet neighborhood yet centrally located for winter and summer fun. Charming interior, beautiful patio and hot tub, fireplace. The hosts were so attentive and friendly! We will definitely return!

Larissa & Adam were excellent hosts! Their communication and ease of check-in and check-out were top notch. The rental was extremely clean and we appreciated all of the ammenities provided (start-up for cleaning/paper products, well stocked kitchen utensils and cookware, clean bathroom!). Larissa checked in upon arrival as well as throughout our stay to ensure we were well taken care of. This cottage is located just a short walk to downtown Walloon Lake. It was a very easy walk to the public beach and park (even with two littles under the age of 5). The location is also excellent for easy access to major grocery stores and plenty of restaurants. We had a wonderful stay!

Overall our stay in Walloon was great. This house, while cute, was not worth the price gauge that we faced. There was a list about 10 deep of issues we faced in 3 short days. Pictures are definitely not as they seem. Outdoors are not well kept, jacuzzi and lights were dilapidated at best, we weren’t informed of a few non working things before arrival. While the owner did their best to accommodate during their busy weekend it still did not live up to the cost. Sadly, they were unwilling to compensate for any of the inconvenience we faced. This home should be valued as an extended stay hotel especially given the one tiny bathroom. If you have more than 2 kids good luck.

The location was ideal and the fenced back yard great for dogs. The hot tub was an added bonus! Very well equipped!

House was small but comfortable. It was within walking distance to a very small beach and cute town with restaurant snd general store. Everything was accurately depicted in listing. We had an issue with the dryer while there and host was attentive. Would stay again.

This Walloon cottage was perfect for our family and our dog! Great location in Walloon - easy walk to everything in Walloon Village. Loved the hot tub and the fenced yard. Well set up as rental - had everything we needed - even beach towels and a s’more kit for the fire pit.
