Stayed Nov 28, 2025Very clean and well stocked. Very quiet and cozy. We had a great time and really enjoyed the local restaurants. The Blue Canoe is only half mile away and has good Cajun fare.

Stayed Jul 1, 2024The Moose is the perfect weekend getaway in the NE Georgia mountains. This is a very cozy and accommodating stay, and has everything you need to be comfortable. The cabin is centrally located to everything Lake Burton. 5 mins from Laprades Marina. 2 mins from Blue Canoe. 20 mins from Clayton. 20 mins from Helen. I could not have asked for better host. They were extremely communicative and responsive to any questions I had during my stay. Don’t hesitate. This place is a gem!

Stayed Jun 26, 2024Enjoyed the house, perfect for two. There was no public lake access nearby, that was disappointing. Local hiking spots were nice, dinner at Blue Canoe was good.
