LARGE, cozy 1930's era cottage home! Comfortably sleeps 2 in a queen size bed + tiny ones on a drop down sofa.
Full size private space with full kitchen and full size bath. Also washer/dryer.

The space
Small cottage feels big with cathedral ceiling and full size features. Cute cottage sets at the end of a private, country, tree covered, bumpy gravel/dirt drive.
This is an older home, not perfect, but relaxed and comfortable

Perfect mountain get-a-way!
We loved our stay it was very clean and had everything we needed not to mention how peaceful it was we would definitely stay here again!!
Great stay for 2 people, quiet neighborhood, has all needed amenities including washer and dryer. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen.
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was cozy and we had plenty of room with just 2. There were things about the property that were different from the photos, such as the closet door is now removed, the kitchen counter is now a table, so it didn't completely convey what it really looks like - not a big deal, but something I noticed. Sadly, although there is a cleaning fee, the place was not very clean when we arrived. We had to clean out the toaster oven before using, as there were so many crumbs accumulated. The shower stall had lots of long, dark hairs that we had to clean out before using. The bottoms of our socks were full of cat hair after walking around a bit, and we don't have a cat. The sinks were not clean either. We also had ant problems while there. We only saw one or two initially, but when we opened a box of cereal we had brought (it was closed up tightly), it was full of tiny ants. An occasional bug I can handle, but ants are rarely isolated, and that was the case here. The drive to get to the house is a dirt road with gravel, and there are deep potholes in it - just a heads up. Other than these things, it was peaceful and private. The bed was comfy, although I would say it is a double bed and not a queen size. We enjoyed the privacy and the surrounding nature. The owner is planning some great upgrades and the house has great potential to be the perfect stay!
Loved the area, and location. Ants in the kitchen area, destroyed any sugary foods we had.
Place was very clean, kitchen fully stocked, comfy bed, very spacious, quiet, close to main touristic sites. I felt at home right away. I suffer from severe multiple chemical sensitivity so I can't be in places where fragances, bleach, air fresheners are used. Host aired out space so any cleaning chemicals smell will be gone and closed an air fresheners she had in the closet. She even washed clothes with free and clear safe product. I didn't have any reaction so if you suffer from this type of allergies, asthma...ask host and she will accommodate you. Besides that, the place is amazing and area is so so beautiful and I would love to use this property on my way to the South from now on. Advice: bring food before getting to cabin...getting to stores is driving in curves. The closest and cheapest by far is ALDI.
Upon our arrival, we went into the house. Upon first glance, it is quaint as described but it the furniture is also stained and the house is in need of serious updating and deep cleaning. We used the bathroom and quickly realized there was soap residue on the sink left from the last tenant which tells us it was not cleaned properly. The ant colony in the kitchen was quite active. They were living next to the front porch area and having a true field day in the kitchen of the house. The furniture was stained, the dust whirls in the exhaust fans, the deeply stained shower, and the lack of appropriate online representation made us choose to leave. My friend and fellow traveler was immunocompromised so we could not stay in a house that was not clean and infested with ants. I have photos of all but have not been able to get them to upload. The owner was contacted and we left and had to find another place to stay. The owner has been contacted several times, as has VRBO. Formal complaints are filed with VRBO. The BBB is notified and my credit card company is notified as well. I have waited over 30 days for resolution from this issue. The owner has been non responsive to my emails. VRBO has stated to me the owner will be removed from VRBO services due to this lack of response and misrepresentation. As a rental owner myself there is an awareness that sometimes things happen beyond one's control but filth and long term stains and misrepresentation of the property is not something that just happens.
My spouse and I chose this property for our anniversary weekend getaway. The house is very cute, in a wonderful area, and peaceful. Even though there are neighbors we weren't bothered (with too much noise ect) at all. The house was very clean inside and the property outside is also very well taken care of. The property manager is polite and each time I had a question she responded within 5 minutes or less. Will definitely consider this property if we are ever back in the area!
The home was very clean and had everything needed for our stay. It was in the country and more isolated than I imagined. The listing said Lookout Mountain but that was about 10 miles away.
The location was just what I needed--thanks!
Really enjoyed the coziness of the cabin and how close to local attractions
This cabin could not have been anymore perfectly located for sight seeing in the chattanooga area! Absolutely LOVED the property everything you could need for a weekend away and more. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating
