Cozy Cottage in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains

Check in was a breeze and cabin was ready on time. The cabin was neat and clean. We enjoyed the quiet area. Easy drive to downtown (less than 10 minutes).

Quiet location with a lovely porch to relax on after a day of hiking! Saw our first white squirrel as we relaxed yesterday evening! Very comfortable spaces inside! Cozy comfy bedrooms! Sweet kitchen with all the needs met for preparing a meal. Love the charm of an old house updated to meet modern expectations! Near shopping and food and perfect location to get to parks and hiking which is our main reason for our visit this time! If you want the feel of a mountain cabin with conveniences close by, this is the place!!!

Quaint cottage with easy access to town. We were there for an ultra race & the venue was not far away. Enjoyed first time in Brevard & spotting a white squirrel.

We loved staying in the house. I read on the porch porch each morning, and my husband & son really enjoyed playing guitar. The host was very accommodating when we decided to come in one day earlier than expected. The house was just perfect for our family.

I read some of the other reviews, and I agree with the lady who said she stayed there with her daughter because that’s exactly what I did. Since we have family that lives on the circle, a cousin who was walking by indicated that they could see straight into the house into the bedroom, where my 17-year-old daughter was staying and because that made her so uncomfortable she would not sleep in that front room. There are very thin shears over the window, but it could use blinds to make female occupants feel more secure. I could not find a toaster and there was no accessible microwave so that made it difficult to fix breakfast. And then when I pulled a pan out to use the oven, the pan was covered in brown grease. so to make any improvements, coverings for the windows need to be upgraded along with appliances for the kitchen and that would make it a much better stay.

We have stayed here numerous times and have always been happy. The perfect, cozy mountain cottage!
