Cozy Cottage at The Cabins

Once again another amazing stay at this property. The host is super friendly and make sure that you are comfortable. This will be my go-to place every time I'm in Connecticut. Thanks so much for an amazing stay

Space was cozy and clean. Information ahead of time about check in was detailed. We didn't need anything, the place was well equipped.

After getting used to the horse chestnuts falling from the tree and hitting the roof we loved the place! Clean, very clean! Quiet inside. Mattress comfortable, but the springs under were bouncy. That's the only thing I would change, but we still slept well. It had everything we needed. Lots of hot water, good shower pressure. The kitchen had good pots and pans, which was appreciated. And a washer/dryer!

Wonderful rental close to shopping, beaches….conveniently near highway and tons of great places to eat..Karl was a wonderful, responsive host. I highly recommend The Cabins if you are looking to stay in the area….

This is our second stay at the Cozy Cottage. It is always very clean and comfortable. It is well located and our host (Karl) was very kind and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at this very clean, quiet and comfortable cottage. It is very well located for visiting the beaches and other sights along the CT shoreline. We will definitely stay there again.

GREAT PLACE!!! I spent two weeks here as I had to be in the area for a business obligation. The cottage was immaculate and appears to have been recently redone. The AC works great when needed. The lovely beach is a five-minute drive and you are provided with a pass. The owner is a very nice guy. Can’t recommend the place highly enough (and I’ve left some very cranky reviews in my time).

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy cottage! Immaculately clean and every amenity one could wish for. Excellent communication with the host. Excellent location. Near restaurants and shopping. We will definitely choose to stay here the next time we are in the Old Saybrook area.

This is a small one bedroom cottage which i found to be clean and well stocked. It's close to grocery, shopping and was the perfect location for my needs. Owner was nice.

We have stayed here before and will keep coming back! The location is very convenient. The cabin was spotless, comfortable and even had some treats in the refrigerator for us. The owner is always responsive and helpful.

Loved the cottage. It is very clean and in good repair. What is especially notable is the decorative touches. The decor lends to the coziness and feeling of being home. Everything from the floral comforter to the extra blanket and the extra goodies in the refrigerator just added to the welcoming feeling. And it was absolutely immaculate. The owner was enormously helpful and available to answer any questions . I highly recommend this cottage!

Just a great place that worked out well between Essex and Mystic

This place feels like home. It is so cute and cozy but you dont feel squeezed in a box. Plenty of room. Exceptionally clean and host was awesome. Will be coming back for sure.

Definitely recommend this great little cabin. Very tidy and just enough space for a comfortable weekend get away for two. The whole experience was very simple and communication with owner was fantastic! The cabin was spic and span with complimentary refreshments. The only little thing I would suggest is to bring your own pillows as the ones provided were a little flat. We normally always take our own pillows anyway, but forgot them on this trip. Shower was great and kitchen was fully equipped with all the basic needs. Would definitely stay again!

The cottage clean, functional and friendly setting. We enjoyed exploring the area, beautiful natural scenery and wonderful food options. We're 100% satisfied and highly recommend and we hope to visit again there's more we'd like to explore! Thank you to our host Karl!
