Stayed Aug 21, 2020Arrived toward evening-suppose to be beautiful new cottage. It was NOT new nor was it beautiful. Also was suppose to be king bed with sofa. It was queen beds, no sofa. The absolute worst part was when I realized how dirty the floor was. It didn’t feel right on my feet but, especially in the days of covid, I thought it was me. Places are supposed to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. When I was getting into bed about 45 mins after we arrived I looked at the bottom of my feet and they were black. I was surprised and just thought it was from my day. I washed them and went to bed. Next morning, took my shower and 10 mins later they were getting as filthy as they were the night before. That’s when I fully realized this floor had not been mopped and sanitized-and it had to have been for SEVERAL stays prior to ours. We took our shoes off at the door when we arrived for our stay. Needless to say I was LIVID at this time. We went to the office and told them we were checking out and the reasons why. They did not seem surprised. No manager was there to talk to. I have requested a FULL refund which I will deal with when I get back home. It ruined our weekend-we had a heck of a time finding a place to stay and were ready to head home when we actually found a beautiful place a few miles away. Do not stay here unless dirt and uncleanliness doesn’t bother you! In these times of covid especially, they need to be looked into!

Stayed Aug 6, 2020We enjoyed our time here in Lake George very much! The cabin was very nice and clean. The location was great and near everything we wanted to do.
