Welcome to Baerfoot Doral Cottage, a tranquil escape nestled on a lush, wooded lot in a quiet cul-de-sac. This 3-bedroom home perfectly captures the essence of a traditional Bethany Beach getaway with its unique spiral staircase, airy loft, and inviting screened porch. Whether you are catching the local trolley to the boardwalk or relaxing in the shade of the mature trees, this cottage offers a harmonious blend of coastal adventure and peaceful seclusion.

FLOOR-BY-FLOOR DESCRIPTION

First Floor: The main level features a well-equipped kitchen designed for easy meal preparation and a comfortable living area. Step outside to the screened-in porch, the perfect setting for morning coffee or alfresco evening dinners amidst the wooded scenery. This level also includes the Primary Suite with a Queen bed and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower.

Second Floor: Accessed via a unique spiral staircase, the second level includes a Jack & Jill style shared bathroom connecting two bedrooms: one with a Full bed and another with two Twin beds. The airy loft provides additional flexible sleeping space with a convertible ottoman, a futon, and a pull-out sofa.

Outdoor Living & Parking: This property offers unusual convenience with off-street parking for up to 6 cars. Guests can enjoy a charcoal grill for summer cookouts and an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.

LINEN PACKAGE

1st Choice Properties provides bed and bath linens for you. Your linen package includes: fitted sheets, top sheets, and pillowcases for all beds; sets of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths for all guests; kitchen towels and bathmats for all full bathrooms. Your linens will be delivered to the home prior to your arrival; you are responsible for putting the linens on the beds. You are also responsible for bagging the linens at the end of your stay and leaving them outside the residence for pick-up after your departure.

STARTER KIT

1st Choice Properties also provides a Starter Kit with all rentals. Your Starter Kit includes (1) roll of paper towels, (2) rolls of toilet paper, (1) 3oz bottle of dish soap, (1) dish sponge, (1) 13gal kitchen trash bags. You are responsible for providing any additional toiletries, soap, and paper products as needed.


MISCELLANEOUS

-The maximum occupancy is 8 people.

-There is parking for 2 vehicles.

-No pets, smoking, vaping, or events are allowed.

-Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

-Check-in is 4PM and check-out is 10AM. This is non-negotiable. Your access codes for the property will activate and deactivate precisely at these times; occupancy outside these timeframes without express permission from 1st Choice Properties is considered unlawful trespassing. 1st Choice Properties will contact you directly the day of your arrival if your property is available for an early check-in at no additional cost to you; this is our standard practice and you do not need to contact us to opt-in to it.

-The property owners we represent do not permit reservations for groups under the age of 25.


DELAWARE SHORT-TERM RENTAL TAX

    Check in/ check out was easy.1st Choice communicated very well and provided a nice welcome package with essentials.The property is comfortable and cozy. The location is very convenient to everythingAs someone else memtioned i would update info regarding pool passes as it was a little expensive for 5 guest passes.Not suprisingly, because of the wooded location, there are a lot of ants. If you leave anyting sweet on the counters expect a swarm. The Terro ant killer i found under the sink worked well.

    House was perfect for what we were looking for. Close enough to walk or take the trolley, but far enough away that it allowed privacy and peace. Would definitely stay again!

    Cozy and such a home feeling to it a beautiful stay we got lucky with amazing weather the only thing that I can say I would changes it the pool passes a lot of the information giving in the red binder you receive wasn’t updated and the prices were a bit expensive but overall a beautiful stay It was

    My husband loved the back porch. Each area had their own AC, which was nice. Comfortable and easy access to the beach (1 mile walk but we had the parking pass, so it was easy to get close). And there was a beach and downtown trolley. Very organized. Great subdivision with pool and workout center.

    This house is in desperate need of upgrades in every room. Kitchen, floors, walls, beds are all very old and in poor condition. Day 1 we found ants in the kitchen and contacted the property manager but they never sent anyone to take care of it. Lots of spiders in the bathrooms. Paid the fee for linens but we had to make all the beds then strip them at the end of the week ourselves. Location was good. House is in a quiet neighborhood and just a short drive to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Kids enjoyed the community pool and riding the trolley.

    Enjoyed the home. Had a continuous battle with small ants on the counter and some cabinets. Noticed that they were climbing up the outside of the house too. Suggest perimeter ant control be applied periodically. Removal of some of the saplings along the edges of the driveway would allow easier access in/out. Would recommend monthly cleaning of gutters- we endured some heavy rainstorm due to the hurricane and the water just went right over the gutters because they were plugged full of pine needles. One day we encountered a downy woodpecker knockin' on the exterior.... Sent him (her ?) packin'!!! Enjoyed our family time. Thank you again for your hospitality. Gordon & Sally Scott

    Property had plenty of space. There was an ant problem that was quickly taken care by management. Curb appeal would be so much better if landscaping was improved. The location is great and neighborhood is nice and quiet

    Convenient location in Bethany West. Comfortable house, all beds were comfortable and kitchen was reasonably stocked with essential cookware. The only bathroom with a tub is upstairs, and there is a spiral staircase.

    Great house, good location for riding bikes to town and beach. Had everything we needed. The binder that explains the equipment in the house was outstanding and very thorough. Would go back again. Loved it,
