Bridgetown, Saint Thomas
Hygge Cottage sits on a small elevated ridge overlooking the scenic West Coast of the island. It enjoys a gorgeous sea view to the west and cooling tropical breezes from the east. Nestled amongst the trees and tropical foliage the location is peaceful and calming.
The cottage is located in the grounds of “Farmers Great House” which was originally built in 1670. Constructed in 2017 of hard wood with a concrete base it is a relatively new addition to this historical Barbadian home. It was strategically placed to maximize the amazing sea views and sunsets of the west coast. A large patio off the open plan kitchen and living area all enjoy the gorgeous views with the 2 sized ensuite bedrooms positioned on the east of the house to capture the cooling Caribbean breezes.
A lush, spacious garden with various fruit trees and ample parking lead to the fire pit with its semi circular bench. This is all privately tucked away behind attractive stone built boundary walls.
