Stayed Aug 5, 2023We had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday here. Beautiful setting and the villa is described accurately. Hosts were helpful and always on hand to provide anything we needed such as extra towels or bedding. The pool is a good size for a family and the grounds are large so plenty of room to play or relax.

Stayed Aug 14, 2022We were very happy with the villa overall. The pictures do not do it justice. The area is quiet, a few animal noises but no loud neighbours or music. Perfect to relax. There is enough equipment for 4. It was lovely to be able to have a pool after a long day sight seeing. Plenty of outdoor space for eating. The outdoor bbq was fairly new so we used this a lot and would eat in the summerhouse of an evening out of the wind. We liked the security of having electric gates. We used Google translate to communicate via what’s app which was useful not speaking the language. This is a great base for seeing northern Portugal and Porto. Use of a car essential, streets in the locality are very narrow in some spots but we were ok with a Citroen C3.

Stayed Sep 22, 2019Quiet, clean and spacious house with a big garden and a swimming pool. It was not easy to find the house, from the village center follow the sign Café Mataz and take the first narrow street on your right hand after the café. Harry & Ellen
