We extend a warm and friendly ‘Croeso’ (welcome) to our charming holiday cottages nestled on the side of Frenni Fawr, part of the ancient Preseli 'Bluestone' Hills in rustic, rural Pembrokeshire. Wernddofn is ideally located for exploring both coast and countryside. Boncath is close to the borders of Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire giving access to an even wider choice of places to explore and enjoy.

The Stable (Y Stabl), The Dairy (Y Llaethyd) and The Parlour (Y Parlwr) at Wernddofn are three beautifully converted, Welsh stone barns with all the modern conveniences for comfortable living. All cottages are pet friendly, so the whole family can enjoy the holiday, for an additional charge of just £15 per four legged friend.

The Stable is a perfect 'Little Pembrokeshire Home' for families, couples or friends - the two bedrooms (sleeping up to 4) offer a double and 2 single beds. (A cot is available too)

The Dairy has 3 bedrooms (sleeping up to 6) - a king size bed and 2 singles upstairs with a family bathroom - a double room downstairs with a large en-suite wet room.

The Parlour is a perfect retreat for the lone traveller or for a couple - a king size bed with an en-suite bathroom.

The Stable is located on one side of our large courtyard with the Dairy and the Parlour (which are semi-detached) on the other. All have stunning views. There is plenty of parking space directly in front of each cottage. The Dairy has a gently sloping concrete path to the front door which is suitable for wheelchair access.

We offer stays from just 2 nights all year round in The Stable and The Parlour which means you can book any length of stay starting on any day! The Dairy is available for a minimum of 4 night stays all year round. (Occasional offers available for 2 nights)

If you have any other requirements, please ring to discuss them further.

Peace, comfort and much more await you at Wernddofn - we endeavour to exceed your expectations of a holiday cottage!

The only bad point , as the property was excellent in all ways , was the lack of signage to the place . It just needed two places to the two already there . Lost sleep in worry when got instructions - horrendous - along very narrow lanes . Came to one place where a neighbour was clearly at breaking point having to direct people to the correct location. Luckily , we made a friend who had to come and guide us either in or out on every occasion , and certainly couldn’t leave or enter the site when it was dark , so any eating out or seeing people in the evening could’nt be done . We were trapped ! Such a lovely place at a reasonable price but couldn’t recommend it because of the problems we experienced !

Property was clean, room way too hot, no fan provided, not enough signage to the property, and neighbour extremely rude ( not the owners fault, but more signs could prevent this) dead crow hanging from telephone line, property smelt funny ( can’t explain it) , constant drilling noise (could have been a generator???) all night, we came away to relax and sleep, sadly were unable to do either, the property was tired and could do with some improvements, plaster was falling off the walls, we had to buy a fan for the second night, but still didn’t manage to sleep, sadly we wouldn’t stay again and wouldn’t recommend to friends.

Very pleasant cottage on a rural property that, to be honest, is looking a bit tired and cluttered. Wifi is only available if you walk 30m and stand outside the owner's home - very inconvenient, especially if it is raining! The owner's interface with the booking app seems to be broken as emails returned unviewed and payment requests were poorly coordinated ( which was not the owner's fault ). The owners live on-site and were very friendly.

Everything from the cream tea on arrival to the accomodation was superb. The cottage has all that is needed for a wonderful break.

We stayed in The Parlour for a new years break as we wanted a quiet & cosy new years eve, away from all the hustle and bustle. The cottage was absolutely fabulous. Beautifully decorated, all the facilities you could need and amazing hosts who made us lovely homemade bread and even left us eggs, cake & mince pies! It is in the middle of the countryside but Cardigan is only a 10 minute drive if you really feel like you need to visit a town. The location is great and has amazing views.

We stayed for a few days in the Parlour which is a lovely base to explore Pembrokeshire from. The Parlour is well equipped and beautifully homely after a long day walking or exploring the area. The local cheese farm is a must visit, the cheese is amazing.

Had a wonderful, restful stay in glorious location. The cottage was immaculate, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We stayed in The Parlour and were surprised at how spacious it was. As the weather was so beautiful we took full advantage of the outside space, even used the sun loungers one lazy afternoon!
