Stayed Oct 12, 2025It was a nice cozy place to stay. This was our second time to this listing. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook. Quiet and away from crowds, but still close enough drive to nearby Traverse City. Enjoyed all the hiking tails nearby.

Stayed Oct 10, 2024Beautiful, well-appointed property. So peaceful and quiet. We did not make use of the rowboat or chiminea fire pit, but we were glad they were there. Super-clean with nary a cobweb in sight! We would love to return for a longer stay than 3 nights.

Stayed Sep 4, 2023Beautiful property that has been very well cared for over the years. Very clean and private. My husband and I enjoyed time fishing on the lake. Mary and her brother Bruce were very helpful and available. Lots do at the property and in the surrounding area. Spider Lake is a new favorite destination. Thank you for everything!

Stayed Oct 8, 2022We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Loved waking up to the view of lake every morning. It was very private, yet close enough for day trips to nearby towns and attractions. Plenty of games and books to read on rainy days and everything we needed to cook meals at home. Lots of good hiking trails only a few minutes drive from the cabin. We stayed in October so it was a little cooler, but the heaters that adjusted for each room were great. Would definitely come back.

Stayed Sep 11, 2021This was our second stay this year. We stayed a week in June and love this place. The only problem is the shower, there is no water pressure and it takes a really long time to get warm. Hopefully it will be fixed for next year. Also the row boat was full of water. This cabin is very comfortable and in a great location on the lake
