Cottage on Main Street - Brevard, NC

My mom and I stayed here for Mother's Day weekend and had a great experience! It was so nice to be able to park our car once and then be able to walk to everything downtown. The space was clean and had everything we needed. Yamile and Mike were communicative and friendly - they provided excellent restaurant recommendations. We will definitely be back next time we are in Brevard!

What a lovely cottage in Brevard! The owner has thought of everything one could need. The kitchen is very well appointed, and the space is inviting, clean, and comfortable. The porch provides a cozy setting to relax, have a drink, and enjoy the weather. The peonies were getting ready to bloom and it was lovely to be outside. The cottage is a perfect distance to walk to town, which we did several times. There is a great selection of restaurants and shops and a farmer's market on Saturdays. In fact, there are two restaurants next door to the property. We had a wonderful time and a cozy stay. Highly recommend! Would love to stay again if we're back in Brevard.

Host was easy to reach, the location was absolutely fabulous, and it had everything you needed for a home away from home. The location made it easy to enjoy the restaurants and shops on Main Street. Definitely recommend as a home base for your trip!

Absolutely perfect location if you're thinking about traveling to Brevard. It is literally across the street from Brevard Yoga Studio and right next door to two fantastic restaurants. Downtown is minutes away on foot and the library is there as well. Brevard is full of businesses of all sorts. The two beds are extremely comfortable, with the bathroom being in between them, and the kitchen is fully functional, the washer and dryer were very nice to have. The AC works great and a dehumidifier is included. The Pisgah Forest is close by and this location is walking distance to three breweries, many with food and entertainment. The hosts are incredibly caring and diligent, we couldn't have hoped for better.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage on Main (actually just off of Main St.) Small and quaint two bedroom, one bath. Fully furnished. Perfect for a couple get away. Within walking distance of everything downtown. We also walked to the Brevard campus to visit our daughter. So quite perfect for what we needed. We will definitely go back!

Fantastic in-town spot close to restaurants and breweries. Very clean and comfortable. We will stay here again.

This was a great location, perfect for walking to restaurants and shops. We had a small hiccup with a broken heating system, but the hosts were amazing and got us sorted out in record time. Great hosts and great location!

This small house was in a great location for walking around downtown Brevard. House was clean and we appreciated full kitchen and the washer and dryer. Listing was glitchy from the beginning with emails from VRBO saying second 1/2 of payment was due well before the due date. Also the check in email sent out right before check in did not include door code details. We tried to reach out to owner on day of arrival but got no reply. Luckily owner happened to see us when we got there and was able to help us get in. She said was not getting the messages from me via VRBO for some reason. She was nice enough to give us her cell number in case we had further issues. Very disappointed to see that the A/C was programmed by owner with only limited changes allowed. It was set on 74 (which to us is too warm) and we could only lower it to 70, which only would hold for 2 hours before going back to 74. This made for hot nights, since I am a very warm sleeper. I feel like it should be advertised in the listing if there are restrictions on the thermostat.
