Cottage Living on Peaceful Lancaster Co. Farm

Perfect for our weekend getaway. Home was clean and well stocked. Owner was communicative and super friendly. It was interesting to read the history of the family and property.

We had a wonderful time at The Miller Homestead. The property was exactly as listed, beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The owners were responsive, professional, warm and hospitable.

This is our second time to stay at this property. We love it. It’s a wonderful place to stay. It is so clean, there is everything you would need, the scenery is beautiful, and the host are wonderful.

Our stay here was wonderful! Clair & Mim we’re so kind, responsive and friendly hosts. Their property was stunning and we would absolutely stay again.

The house was beautifully appointed and charming in every way. We had 5 women all stay for a wonderful getaway weekend where every detail from assorted teas to makeup remover towels was thought of.... and we took full advantage! The hosts were kind, available, and hospitable and we are making up reasons to plan another girls weekend at this cottage!

Speechless. Historic beautiful. House laid out with everything needed exactly where you would expect. Family included 30yo child, spouse, 80yo parents and myself with husband. We didn’t want to leave! Perfect 2 mile stay from winery where wedding was. Takes a lot to impress 30yo kids and they couldn’t say enough positive things about the stay!

Our time at the Lancaster County family farm summerhouse was idyllic. The home has all the modern conveniences necessary for a most comfortable stay yet it has such strong character with it's having retained it's 18th century charm. My family and I loved seeing the farm animals and we greatly enjoyed walking alongside the tall rows of corn. The hosts are extremely friendly, they are easy to talk with, they are very warm and gracious people and they are incredibly welcoming. My family and I were enchanted by the peacefulness and beauty of the property. The house was plenty big for our needs and it was clean, cozy and very nicely appointed. We look forward to a return stay as we are back in the area. Thanks so much, Clair and Mim, for making our Elizabethtown vacation so positively memorable.

Clair and Mim were great hosts! The check-in process was really easy and the property was as listed. Inside it was clean and there were several games, books, and toys that our daughter loved playing with (especially in the upstairs nook area). Hershey Park was close by, which made it convenient to go back and forth. Overall, it was a great stay and we'd stay again if in the area.

Lovely peaceful property

Not just a cottage rental but a magical farm experience!!! Reminded me of growing up in my grandparents old farmhouse. Fireflies, sheep, cows, pond and a secret play room for the 5 year old!. So honored to learn about their family history and legacy. Very relaxing!!!

Everything was perfect! The decor, the history, the hosts, the atmosphere, the location, and oh so clean and comfy! Just lovely!

This is the best VRBO we have ever stayed at! The attention to detail was impeccable and the hospitality was beyond what could ever have been asked for. The Miller family is hard working and honest…a model for our son to witness. The story associated with the property is amazing as well. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Nice quiet place with ample outdoor space. Was a great choice for my family of 4 while spending a long weekend at Hersheypark, which is ~20 minutes away.

The cottage is beautiful and has a neat little story with it. It is very comfortable and felt like home to us. We came to visit from Florida and there is a hurricane coming directly towards our home. Mim was very caring and offered us more time if we needed it. We were able to do all our laundry

My kids and their friends had a great stay at this beautiful and historic farm house during our visit to Hersheypark. It was great to have a quiet place to relax after the excitement at the park. We would highly recommend this house to others.

Love the summer house we stayed in, it was peaceful and a joy to sit on the back porch, watch the cows in the field and just in enjoy the quiet. The house was charming and the perfect size to have a quick weekend away.

This house was perfect! Exceptionally clean and close to Hershey Park. Great for families and those traveling with kids. There were multiple sleeping options and very comfortable beds. We loved the uniqueness and history of the house! We definitely would stay here again.

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our 2 night stay in the Hershey area. We needed a clean and comfortable place to sleep and a nice setting to rest and recharge between activities. This home delivered both. The farm is beautiful and the owners were extremely warm and helpful. We will definitely return!

Great little cottage for our family vacation. Cottage was very cool. It was full of character and charm. We really enjoyed our stay. Definitely a must stay when you're visiting Hershey. We also visited Gettysburg which was an hour away. Wish we could have stayed longer.
