Stayed Aug 6, 2025This place was amazing. Rosalind was wonderful and the shepherds hut was fantastic. The barn kitties were a perfect touch and would greet us in the morning and come back in the evening to visit. The area was perfect with the creek right next to us and the history of the mill was Interesting. Definitely would visit again!

Stayed Jul 25, 2025We stayed 3 nights. We fished, fished & fished, catching trout, small mouth bass, rock bass, sun perch & even a catfish. The creek was amazing. The hut is so cool. It's set up perfectly! The bed is extremely comfortable. The walk to the swimming hole is quick, but we didn't try it out. The shower is aaaaamazing!!Being located in between Hershey & Lancaster is a huge plus. There is so much to do.Relaxing & peaceful...worth the trip from Virginia!!

Stayed Sep 5, 2024This property is absolutely gorgeous. Sitting outside, listening to the sound of the creek and being surrounded by the trees was really an amazing escape. Everything was so clean, I could tell the host paid attention to the details. The shepherds hut itself fit perfect into the setting. It was an incredibly comfortable, new mattress and made for a wonderful night sleep. I highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting the area.

Stayed Jun 5, 2024This glamping experience is a bit of paradise set back away from the city. We drove to multiple towns during the day and it was a short jaunt back to the property when we were ready to enjoy a bit of serenity. The site is close enough to the main property to get help if you need it but set a part to feel like you are in your own little world. We loved it.

Stayed Jun 11, 2024This was a charming stay on a large private “glamping site” right next to the Conowago creek and across the creek through a bank of woods is the Conowago trail. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The outdoor shower was a highlight. The owner lent me a wagon, which was essential if you are staying alone and have a cooler. Recommend a good cooler for the stay. It was quite fun!

Stayed Dec 8, 2023What a nice, peaceful stay by the strong flowing creek (river) for one night!! The hut, even more interesting a restored hay wagon, was immaculate. Its all in the details. The owner's attention to making the rental cozy, homey, and a unique woodland escape were evident from wall to wall, and outdoors. Electricity and charging ports were a great bonus. We were completely warmed by the ambient electric woodstove and the outhouse/toilet was spotless. Warm months would be a pleasure to use the large, hot water shower by the creek. The outside area with gas grill, neat-as-a-pin firepit with provided over-the-fire cooking grill (not your average grate), hammock and seating were grassy and well-groomed for leisure that we enjoyed creek side for the view, and nature's music. The owner is a sweetheart and easy for needs and communication. We felt privacy, too. There was a bit of walk along grassy route from the parking to the hut. This is alongside the beautiful creek, but not unreasonably lengthy. Staying again goes without question!
